Crickelwood Court Mobile Home About
For many individuals and families across Michigan, mobile home parks represent a potential pathway to finding an affordable home or a community-oriented living environment. These communities, often formally known as manufactured home communities, provide a distinct housing model where residents typically own their home while leasing the land it occupies. This arrangement can offer an alternative to traditional stick-built housing or apartment rentals, appealing to those seeking a balance of independence and community living. In Ravenna, Michigan, Crickelwood Court Mobile Home is one such park that forms part of the local housing landscape.
The decision to choose a mobile home park as a place to live involves careful consideration of various factors, including the community's atmosphere, the services provided by management, and the overall quality of life within the park. For Michigan residents exploring manufactured housing options, it is essential to gather as much factual information as possible and understand the experiences of current and past residents to make an informed decision.
This article aims to provide a clear and factual overview of Crickelwood Court Mobile Home, relying solely on publicly available information, particularly direct customer reviews. Our goal is to present a realistic picture for prospective residents in Michigan, helping them learn more about this specific location in Ravenna and understand the key aspects of living there. We will cover its location, typical services, any highlighted features, and essential contact information, while directly addressing the feedback provided by residents.
Crickelwood Court Mobile Home is located at 23604 36th Ave, Ravenna, MI 49451, USA. Ravenna is a small, rural community situated in Muskegon County, Michigan. This location places the park within a quiet, less densely populated area, which can appeal to those seeking a peaceful living environment away from the hustle and bustle of larger urban centers.
Being on 36th Ave, the park is likely integrated into the residential patterns of Ravenna, suggesting straightforward access for residents. While Ravenna itself is a smaller town, it offers local conveniences such as basic shopping, schools, and community services that cater to its residents' daily needs. The charm of a small town often includes a strong sense of community, which can be a desirable aspect for mobile home park residents.
For Michigan residents, Ravenna’s location in Muskegon County provides reasonable accessibility to larger nearby cities. Muskegon, with its broader range of employment opportunities, medical facilities, retail options, and Lake Michigan attractions, is typically a manageable drive away. This allows residents of Crickelwood Court Mobile Home to enjoy the tranquility of rural living while still being connected to more extensive urban resources when needed. The balance between serene country living and access to regional amenities is often a key consideration for those choosing a mobile home park in areas like Ravenna.
Mobile home parks primarily offer the service of leasing land lots to residents who own their manufactured homes. Beyond this core service, parks typically provide access to utility connections and manage basic park infrastructure. For Crickelwood Court Mobile Home, the services would generally include:
- Lot Leasing: Providing individual plots of land where residents can place their manufactured homes, in exchange for monthly rent.
- Utility Hookups: Ensuring that each lot is connected to essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer. The responsibility for utility bills (whether included in rent or paid separately by residents) is determined by the lease agreement.
- Basic Infrastructure Maintenance: Upkeep of internal roads within the park and general common area maintenance.
However, it is critically important to address the significant concerns raised in public customer reviews regarding the actual delivery and quality of these services. Multiple residents have reported severe and prolonged issues with home maintenance, including:
- Unresolved Leaks and Mold: Reviews explicitly state "both of my showers are leaking to the point I now have mold growing in my bathroom/bedroom" and that management has failed to address this over several months.
- Lack of Essential Repairs: Residents have reported ongoing problems with furnaces and heat ducts, with one stating a furnace "worked for 1 month after we moved in" and that heat ducts were "opened on both ends and collapsed in the center." Other issues mentioned include "roof damages, floor damages."
- Unresponsive Management: A pervasive theme in reviews is management's failure to "fix things that they’re supposed to," "return phone calls," or "return emails." This lack of communication directly impacts service delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Utility Interruptions: Although not detailed with dates like the water issue for Sunset View, the overall sentiment points to a lack of proper management and upkeep, which could encompass utility reliability.
These detailed accounts suggest a significant disconnect between the expected services and the actual experiences of residents. Prospective residents must be prepared to conduct thorough due diligence regarding the condition of any home or lot and clarify all maintenance responsibilities and response protocols in writing.
The inherent features of a mobile home park typically revolve around providing an affordable, community-focused living option. However, the available customer reviews for Crickelwood Court Mobile Home heavily emphasize critical issues rather than positive highlights. While the park theoretically offers:
- Individual Home Sites: Residents typically have their own detached dwelling, which offers more privacy than apartment living.
- Affordable Housing (Potential): Mobile homes are often a more budget-friendly housing solution compared to traditional homes, especially for those seeking homeownership.
- Community Setting: A mobile home park provides a structured community environment where neighbors live in close proximity.
The most significant "features" derived from customer feedback are unfortunately negative concerns that directly impact livability:
- Severe Neglect of Property Maintenance: Reviews consistently highlight dire living conditions, including widespread mold growth due to unaddressed leaks, damaged and collapsed heating ducts, and issues with roofs and floors. The term "run down trailer" is used to describe a unit being moved in for rent, despite existing unaddressed problems.
- Chronic Management Unresponsiveness: Residents report that management "sucks at this place," "don’t fix things that they’re supposed to," and fail to "return phone calls" or "emails." This lack of communication and action is a major concern.
- Disputes Over Rent and Eviction: Reviews mention that management has initiated eviction proceedings for withholding rent due to unaddressed maintenance issues, suggesting legal disputes are occurring. This points to a strained relationship between residents and management.
- Perceived Prioritization of Sales Over Resident Needs: One review states, "renters should come first before repaing a empty trailer to sell!!!" implying that efforts are focused on preparing vacant units for sale or rent, rather than maintaining homes of current residents.
These pervasive and serious issues overshadow any typical positive features of a mobile home park. For any Michigan resident considering Crickelwood Court Mobile Home, these documented concerns about habitability, maintenance, and management responsiveness are paramount and should prompt extreme caution and thorough personal investigation.
Based on the available customer reviews, there is no public information indicating any positive promotions or special offers being run by Crickelwood Court Mobile Home. The feedback from residents is overwhelmingly negative, focusing on severe maintenance issues, unresponsive management, and legal disputes. One review explicitly states that management is focused on "trying to evict me from my home because I've been withholding rent payments until this matter is resolved," which suggests an adversarial relationship with tenants rather than promotional incentives.
Typically, mobile home parks might offer:
- Move-in specials (e.g., discounted first month's rent)
- Referral programs for existing residents
- Incentives for purchasing new homes within the park
However, given the gravity of the concerns raised in the reviews (mold, unaddressed leaks, utility issues, unresponsiveness), it is highly improbable that positive promotions would be a central aspect of this park's current operations or marketing. Any inquiries about pricing, rental terms, or availability should be made directly with park management, but prospective residents are strongly advised to approach such discussions with critical awareness of the reported conditions and management practices. Securing all terms and conditions, especially regarding maintenance responsibilities, in a clear written contract is essential.
For direct inquiries regarding Crickelwood Court Mobile Home, including questions about lot availability, rental agreements, or to discuss any specific concerns, you would typically reach out to the park management.

As no phone number is provided in the initial data, locating direct contact information for Crickelwood Court Mobile Home management might require further investigation. Prospective residents could potentially find this information through local real estate listings for homes within the park, local government offices in Ravenna, or by visiting the park in person to look for an on-site office or posted contact details. Given the nature of the reviews, if you do manage to establish contact, it is crucial to document all communications, particularly regarding maintenance agreements and financial terms, in writing.
Based on the provided customer reviews, it is extremely difficult to present Crickelwood Court Mobile Home as a "suitable" living option for locals in Michigan. The detailed and highly critical feedback from current residents points to severe and pervasive issues that significantly impact the safety, habitability, and quality of life within the park.
The accounts of persistent mold growth from unresolved leaks, chronic problems with essential utilities like heating, and structural damages (roof, floor) are not minor inconveniences. These are serious health and safety hazards that directly contradict the expectation of a safe and livable home environment. Furthermore, the consistent reports of unresponsive management, failure to complete agreed-upon repairs, and even disputes leading to eviction attempts over withheld rent indicate a deeply problematic relationship between residents and park administration.
While mobile home parks can often offer an entry point into affordable housing for Michigan residents, the current public feedback for Crickelwood Court Mobile Home suggests that this particular park may come with substantial risks and considerable hardship. For any Michigan local considering this community, it is imperative to exercise extreme caution. Extensive personal investigation is strongly advised, including a thorough inspection of any mobile home or lot, attempts to speak with multiple current residents (if possible), and rigorous review of all lease agreements, ideally with legal counsel, before making any commitment. It is crucial to prioritize one's safety, health, and legal rights when choosing a home, and the information available for Crickelwood Court Mobile Home raises significant red flags in these areas.
Customer Reviews
PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!! So my family and I moved into this mobile home. I want to say maybe at the beginning of October and we have had nothing but problems. Not even 2 weeks after moving into my home, both of my showers are leaking to the point I now have mold growing in my bathroom/bedroom. And I've been trying to tell them about it and have got nothing back. Well, the problem continues, and now it's mid-April, and yet I'm still dealing with these people trying to get the mold problem solved. Sorry to say that the only way this company will do something is if you take them to court which I've been doing so since the middle of March because they are trying to evict me from my home because I've been withholding rent payments until this matter is resolved. SO AGAIN, ID STAY AWAY IF I WERE YOU. Because my family and i will definitely be moving again once my lease is up
I moved in in the middle of October management told me they were going to fix my front stair and the trim around my front door which they haven’t done now my showers leak in my bathroom and they just gave me a letter to pay or move because I haven’t paid rent for December…….Management sucks at this place. They don’t fix things that they’re supposed to. They don’t return phone calls. That’s why they haven’t gotten their rent. They don’t even return emails.
Called the number on the sign in front 3 times and they never returned my call.
Spacious country living. Homes are in ok condition. They use to be great then the park got sold. The new owners are foreigners that don't even live in MI. Maintenance is a huge problem now. They raised rents immediately. Alot of people have moved out do to lack of poor management now as well.
Houses are nice. Landlords aren't the greatest at getting things fixed like they should. The water is constantly rusty. They don't do anything to get rid of the thick layer of ice on the roads in the park. Ever since the new people bought the place it hasn't been as nice as before
