It is a good place to live. The park is clean and quiet. Not a typical trailer park which is nice. Very peaceful town, love the rural feel and still close enough to major stores if needed other than local shopping.
We have lived here for the past 8 years. Office and maintenance staff are amazing!
Love the location of this park. Super great staff. The cost of living here is a bit ridiculous. A mobile home community in Florida costs less than living here. I love how safe my children are here, but for the price of lot rent literally nothing comes with it. No maintenance, no yard work, nothing. $700 a month just to keep your personal trailer on their land.
Lived there for 20+ yrs... and it has been my experience that sun homes communities are ALL terrible. They raise lot rent consistently every year, and anytime they get the chance. They play favorites with who gets written up and who doesn't for the same "offenses" or who has to follow the rules; dogs, yards, extra cars, guest parking, etc. They pack in rental homes leaving owners to deal with constant turnover tenants. They pack homes in that are too big for the lots (little to no yards). And to top it off you can smell the dump and various blends of manure from may until late September! Wouldn't recommend it if you have any other choice.
Absolutely a terrible place to live. Kids don't know how to look out for vehicles while they are riding their bikes or playing. People drive faster thru the trailer park then the posted speed limit. If you lose your job don't expect them to help you out with making payments because they obviously don't care about the people that they have living there. So if you want to pretty much get screwed over go ahead and live there.
