We stopped in for an overnight. Scott signed us in and they had a pull through site for us. Scott escorted us to #31. The pool is not open yet, but it looks lovely. There is a small mini gulf, swings, a basketball hoop. There is a store in the office. The owners of the campground made us feel welcome and made sure we were set up without issues. The campground is quiet and respectful. I didn't get to meet any of the cats that are on property. They must be shy. We had a neighbor with a puppy. Her puppy was precious. We are passing through to Casey ill and then on to st lewis, I'm glad we contacted this campground to get a good night sleep on our adventures. I would stop here again if we drive this route in the future. Thanks for having us.
Apr 21, 2025 · Sharon CruseThis is a nice and fairly quiet grounds. Pads are not level so bring what you need to make sure you can level up. Several nice amenities but the best part about the park is the owners. Seem to be great people who try to make your stay a good one.
May 27, 2025 · Stephen CassadyAwesome spot ! ...Stayed just the 1 night while passing through but it was gorgeous ! ... sooo green ! .. Host was suuper friendly and escorted us to our site !! Lots of things to do in the summer - pool, mini golf, playground, pond with fish
May 02, 2025 · lethal wombatAbout 3 minutes off the interstate lies this quiet, friendly and clean campground. The staff was more than helpful and willing to accommodate. We have 2 dogs that had plenty of room to walk and play. Our children enjoyed the mini golf and friendliness of the staff. We didn’t get to use the pool due to timing but looked extra clean and accommodating. We stayed for a quick night en-route to the East coast and would stay here again. Not far from the KOA, which I’m sure is just as nice, but for all we needed this campground was 30$ cheaper. Perfect spot to stop. Thanks for a great quick stay.
Jul 21, 2024 · Rachel JustenLet’s start by saying I was just a visiting guest. Immediately upon arrival, a man (who I’m assuming is the owner) ran up to my vehicle, did not greet me kindly, and started by interrogating me as to why I was there. I stated I was only visiting family for the trick or treat event. The man then tells me very rudely and in an abrasive way, that I will need to get out of the way and go inside to talk to his wife about a guest pass. Once inside, the wife was also very rude. Asking what I considered to be questions she did not need the answers to. Even asking for my license plate number. This was after stating why we were there and how long our intended visit would last. She charged me $6 for four people. My family that arrived later was charged $10 for the same guest pass. While other family told us that they were charged $2 for the both of them. Overall, the campground is a nice wooded area. But the service and groundskeeper were more than disrespectful and I am happy to say I will not be going back any time soon.
