Customer Reviews
The park is beautiful. Water and electric. Bring extra hose with you the water hook ups are some distance from the site in some lots. The lot size was large and level- paved. Get a site on the lake side - you won’t be disappointed! The “beach” appears to be an old boat launch with some sand beside it on either side. The water was clear. It was 102 when we were the Sept.2024- the tree coverage made a nice escape but still HOT! 🥵 lake- swim in the lake!
Sites were spaced apart from the neighboring sites to allow plenty of room to park a boat trailer on the majority that we observed. This was our first trip with the RV, and since our site only had electric hook-up, we were able to test out how to best use our tank capacity. Lots of the sights do have water connections, but I noticed the connection was shared between sites, and because of the distance between, a longer hose may be needed. The view of Greers Ferry Lake was absolutely amazing from our site! We were able to beach the boat right in front of the site, which was extra convenient.
Nice place. When we were there no mosquitoes, no flies, nothing but the wind from the lake. Clean camp ground. Only a few spots got water hook ups. There is a dump station. Playground for the kids and places to fish. Still the same old campground. October 2023 lake is very low.
Very nice Recreation Area with several places to load/launch watercraft at the tournament center. Huge parking lot and nice campgrounds with a swimming area and bathrooms.
The recreation areas are great! There's a lifejacket station at the swim beach (first come, first served), and playground, and multiple points of lake access. I could see how this place would be super busy during peak season. My only negative was the rude people next to us and no hand washing station at the bathroom.
