Location and Accessibility
Fairfield Bay Campground, nestled within the Van Buren Recreation Area, is strategically located at 4340 Hwy 330 S, Fairfield Bay, AR 72088, USA. This address places it squarely on the north side of Greers Ferry Lake, one of Arkansas's most beloved and expansive bodies of water. For us Arkansans, this means an ideal setting for a myriad of water-based activities and breathtaking scenery.
Highway 330 S provides direct and convenient access to the campground, ensuring a smooth journey for RVs and vehicles of all sizes. The location in Fairfield Bay, a well-established resort community, means visitors have access to local conveniences, dining options, and recreational facilities beyond the campground itself, adding to the overall appeal. More importantly, its position directly on Greers Ferry Lake offers unparalleled access to its clear waters for boating, fishing, swimming, and more. Being on the "North side of Greer’s Ferry Lake" also suggests a particular vantage point for enjoying the lake's beauty and potentially less crowded access points compared to other areas. The ease of access combined with the prime lakeside location makes Fairfield Bay Campground a highly desirable and practical choice for Arkansans seeking a rewarding outdoor experience.

Promotions or Special Offers
Fairfield Bay Campground, being part of the Van Buren Recreation Area and likely managed in cooperation with or under the purview of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (as implied by the review mentioning their support), generally operates with standardized fee structures rather than frequent commercial promotions. However, for publicly managed campgrounds, it's common to find:
- Standardized Daily/Nightly Rates: Fees for campsites (electric vs. non-electric, waterfront, etc.) are typically set and publicly available through reservation platforms like Recreation.gov.
- Discounts for Access Pass Holders: Federal recreation passes (like the America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass) often provide discounts (e.g., 50% off) on camping fees for seniors and people with disabilities.
- Seasonal Availability: While not a "promotion," operating seasons might influence pricing or availability. It's crucial to check the operating dates for the campground on official reservation sites.
Given the recent transition and community involvement, there might be local initiatives or special events. However, for booking and general rates, the most reliable approach is to check the official U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) recreation site for Greers Ferry Lake or Recreation.gov. You can also call the provided phone numbers for any specific inquiries about pricing or potential local benefits.
