Beautiful campground. We are here for our 35th anniversary. Sites are huge compared to other KOAs! Very clean. Only thing spoiling total serenity is endless machinery (sawing? car wash?) noise coming from the woods beyond the sites.
Oct 05, 2024 · Doree KingWe are a family of 5 and stayed in a single "vacation rental" cabin (not family cabin). The kids slept comfortable on the pullout couch and my husband and I slept comfortably in the bed. We brought our own pack 'n play for the littlest one. The cabin was clean upon arrival and everything was provided as stated in the description. The cookware looked brand new which was a bonus! The kids really enjoyed the bounce pad and new playground.
Jul 22, 2023 · Rachel DenzWe rarely stay at a KOA Campground because they seem to cram a lot of things into a small area leaving you feel cramped and almost on top of your neighbors. Not the case at this KOA. The campsites are spacious with plenty of room all around. The grounds were well kept and wildlife flourishes here. It's a lovely campground.
Oct 01, 2023 · DebWe arrived on a Sunday afternoon. It was just a stopover place on our trip so we just had a site with water and electricity. The site was so unlevel we needed about 1 foot of lift on the front of the motorhome. There were numerous sites that were almost level. I could understand being given such an unlevel site maybe if the place was full but it was practically empty. A good load of gravel would have leveled the site.
Jun 29, 2024 · Thomas ChandlerI enjoyed my stay for several reasons…large site, very nice employees and very peaceful and quite. Cons: VERY dark where the RV sites are and if you have friends in the cabins you will have to drive there or rent a golf cart. They are close to a mile apart! Some of the permanent sites are very well kept however deeper into the campground is not. There were no activities going on for the entire week we stayed and I would have liked some activities for kids to do. My friends stayed in cabins and had some had issues with the cabins being dirty and some said there cabins were spotless. One friend found a little mouse in her cabin however that is to be expected in the woods I guess. Pros: large RV sites and very nice cabins. Honestly I don’t think the pictures online do them justice. Very quite at least in the RV spots. We got a deluxe full hook up and it was like 80 feet long with a patio. I was told when I booked that it had a BBQ grill but it didn’t. Bottom line: would I book again? Yes!!
