After reading some reviews here, I went to this campground with some hesitation, but everything went just fine for us. I loved our campsite! It had a grill that was clean and usable, and the site itself was roomy without feeling like you are packed in. Some of the things that some people complained about (picking up firewood in the woods or riding bikes on grass), are things that are universal to all campgrounds. Behave yourself and things should go amazingly well…as it did for us. Wonderful stay. Wonderful weekend.
May 14, 2025 · L HWe usually equate most (of course, not all) KOA’s with being crowded and sites close together. But we just loved this KOA. Sites are spacious and the grounds are immaculate. The showers and restrooms and laundry rooms are very clean and the owners, Sharon and Jaimie are wonderful. They work almost 24/7 to keep the place well maintained. I would certainly return to this KOA any time in the future. It is located very close to all the Erie sightseeing destinations. We loved it. Don’t hesitate booking this campground.
May 20, 2025 · Sue LGreat location for travel. Management is excellent! Very friendly and personable! Been here four years in a row. Continues to expand and make everyone comfortable. Job well done. Clean. And well maintained. Close to hwy to get off and on!
Apr 18, 2025 · Janice NairnWe have stayed at a number of KOA in the past year. The Erie KOA is one of the tops. Jamie and his team were amazing! The park was well maintained and updated. We were there atbtje start of their season so not all summer activities were operational, but you could quickly see how amazing this park would be for kids and families. We were really impressed by there cabins!! We will be back!
May 07, 2025 · Cathy O'DonnellFor the love of everything that is, do not stay here. I’m genuinely surprised to see this place is still operating under Sharon and Jamie. How KOA hasn’t pulled their branding from this absolute dumpster fire of a place, or at the very least told Sharon to get some therapy to help her with the many issues she CLEARLY has, is beyond me. If you come here, don’t expect a vacation. Expect a boot camp with 100 rules strictly enforced. And if you give any indication that you don’t like the rules, don’t like Sharon, or just breathe in a way Sharon doesn’t like, you’re going to get screamed at and vilified like you just stomped on her dog or something. I understand the need for rules. But it’s a campground. Where people go to relax and have fun. And when SHARON is the only one disturbing the peace… We heard Sharon SCREAMING at our neighbors around midnight. Why? Because I guess they were too loud. Funny, because the only loud mouth that woke me and my partner up was Sharon. If you have children or want to have any fun whatsoever, save your money (because you’ll probably be kicked out with no refund if you do come and upset Sharon anyway) and go somewhere that actually cares about the people who stay there. I’ve gotten treated better at a dingy motel than I did this KOA. Please, stay away from here until Sharon and Jamie are GONE.
