I love Geneva State Park! I'm visiting from Kentucky and was able to see the Northern lights this year.. right on Lake Erie! It's a beautiful place to watch the sunset..and get some peace. There's also a great campground to set up a tent, get hot showers, and do laundry!! The wildlife office is also awesome with information for the area. I had a wildlife officer stop to offer help after my battery died at the campground..so grateful. Thank you! I highly recommend a visit to Geneva State Park.

Would give this campground a 4.5 if I could. Great amenities including restrooms with flush toilets, soap to wash hands, and air dryers. They also have laundry, a playground, and a swimming beach on Eerie. The only addition I would like to see is a walking/biking path from the campsites to the restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, and to the the park office. Showers bathrooms are very clean.

Beautiful and relaxing place. Only 4 stars because there was around 50 or 60 dead, decaying, and/or skeletonized fish overwhelming the one end of the beach and around 4-6 in the middle. The only other slight complaint was not having the foot wash on for those who want to walk barefoot on the beach and the fact that in front of the water fountain and bathrooms they had porta-pottys. Just wondering why not use the actual bathrooms there and why people can't use the water fountain after being on the many many trails or the beach.

We stayed in the new premium hook up area. My only complaint is the tall parking pavers!!! Our 40 ft Class A cannot fit over those pavers when we air out. And the road lanes are narrow. That left very little room for our small SUV, which we ended up parking it by the bathrooms to be sure it wouldn’t get swiped. So when their website says it can fit a 48ft unit, that’s not true for longer Class As. It is a beautiful area, though! I would come back again. Site 108

Park is conveniently located and camp spots are spaced decently. There are only a handful of full hookups that go quickly and are the only lots that include pads for your picnic table, etc. All of the other spots are pretty narrow with very little space to walk to get into your camper or get your steps down. The office is pretty lax letting people come in, without asking guests questions, etc. They were friendly though and said there’s no $2 daily fee for visitors as the website states. With Geneva being a pretty rainy area, many of the lots had a lot of standing water…some almost the whole lot. Our volunteer host was super friendly and did his best to enforce the rules. Sadly, a neighbor on our last 2 days was rude with loud music and unleashed dogs that left us a few “gifts” to clean up. If you’re okay with a bit of mud, you’ll be okay staying here. Be awesome if they could add some drainage or gravel to help alleviate the pooling water. The showers were GREAT!!
