While specific, detailed lists of services are often tailored to individual park operations, reviews and general information about Normandy Village II indicate a strong focus on resident satisfaction and maintaining a high quality of life. Based on common mobile home park offerings and the positive feedback, the following services are likely provided or inferred:

  • On-Site Management: A dedicated and approachable manager, like Lenore mentioned in reviews, plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the park and addressing residents' needs promptly. This personal touch is a significant factor in resident satisfaction.
  • Grounds Maintenance: The fact that the "grounds are always clean and quiet" suggests regular and diligent maintenance of common areas, landscaping, and overall community aesthetics.
  • Road Maintenance: Reviews mention that "the roads are cared for," indicating that the park invests in maintaining its internal road network for safe and easy navigation by residents and visitors.
  • Community Oversight: The peaceful and safe environment suggests a level of community oversight, ensuring rules are followed and a harmonious living experience is maintained for all residents.
  • Utility Access: As a mobile home park, Normandy Village II would provide necessary hookups for utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity to each lot, ensuring residents have essential services for their homes.
  • Pet-Friendly Environment: While not explicitly stated for this specific park, many senior-focused mobile home communities understand the importance of companion animals and offer pet-friendly policies, often with specific guidelines.

Normandy Village II stands out due to several key features and highlights that contribute to its appeal, particularly for its target demographic:

  • Age-Restricted Community (55+): This is a significant highlight, clearly stated in a review. Being a 55 and over community means the park caters specifically to the needs and preferences of active adults, fostering a quiet, peaceful, and respectful environment tailored to this age group.
  • Quiet and Peaceful Atmosphere: Residents consistently praise the tranquility of the park, making it an ideal place for relaxation and enjoying a serene lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle. This is a recurring theme in positive feedback.
  • Immaculate Grounds and Well-Cared-For Roads: The park's commitment to cleanliness and upkeep is evident in its consistently well-maintained appearance. This contributes to a pleasant living environment and a sense of pride among residents.
  • Exceptional Management (Lenore): The manager receives high praise for making the transition easy and for their overall attentiveness and kindness. Strong, resident-focused management is a critical factor in a positive community experience.
  • Sense of Community: While quiet, the positive interactions mentioned by residents suggest a friendly and supportive community where neighbors feel comfortable and cared for. This fosters a sense of belonging.
  • Safe Environment: The peaceful nature and well-maintained grounds contribute to a feeling of safety and security within the community, which is paramount for many residents.
  • Opportunity for Double Wide Homes: The mention of double wide homes indicates that the park can accommodate larger manufactured homes, offering spacious living options for residents.
  • Proximity to Local Amenities and Attractions: Located in Geneva, residents have easy access to shopping, dining, healthcare, and recreational opportunities, including Lake Erie and Ohio's Wine Country. This blend of quiet living with convenient access is a major advantage.

As a local mobile home park primarily focused on long-term residency, Normandy Village II may not have the same type of seasonal promotions as a campground. However, potential promotions or special offers, or even general financial considerations, might include:

  • Competitive Lot Rent: While not a "promotion," mobile home parks generally offer more affordable housing options compared to traditional stick-built homes, making them an attractive value proposition for seniors on a fixed income.
  • Home Sales Incentives: If the park partners with specific manufactured home dealers, there might be occasional incentives for purchasing a new home within the community, such as discounts on lot rent for a certain period or assistance with moving costs.
  • Referral Programs: Some communities offer a referral bonus to current residents who bring in new qualified residents.
  • Lease-Up Specials: For new sections or new homes, the park might offer temporary reduced lot rent to encourage occupancy.

It is always recommended to contact Normandy Village II directly to inquire about current lot availability, specific pricing details for lot rent, and any potential incentives that might be available for new residents. The manager, Lenore, would be the best point of contact for this information.

Rent is too high, you can't walk your dog, no maintenance or landscaping. Yes it is quite but that is it.
