Customer Reviews
It literally is God's little acre. I decided to take a random road trip. I ended up not finding a spot as I had planned where I was going near Garden of the Gods trail. I called this place that I had preprinted as a backup in case my phone lost signal and I was able to rent a spot to park my legs and get out for the long hike early in the morning. There is electricity and water and a hook up for an RV. They're however is no shower or bathroom facilities so be aware of that and plan accordingly 😉 It is very peaceful at night. Completely secluded and quiet. 15 minutes from the garden of the gods. I couldn't have been happier with where I ended up for the evening. This place only had one review but I took a chance on it as a woman of faith. I'm so glad I did. The host was extremely polite and very accommodating in every aspect of my stay, I will definitely be returning in the near future. 😌 Thank you Random N. * This is a private camp ground and is to be used for a limited amount of people. Also thanks Mike Taylor for your help with the fire 🔥 :)
We called about an hour before wanting to arrive. It’s a private 2 lot campground, the owner Random was very kind and nice. He answered our call immediately and was prompt in responding to our questions. $40 for the privacy, water and electrical hook up we thought was very fair. We were not able to stay for very long due to a medical emergency but from the short time we were there we enjoyed it. There’s lots of open area to play games and the lawn was mowed so the bugs were very minimal. Bring fire wood to have a camp fire. The gas stations seem about 20min away and burden falls was 30min away (there was only a trickle of water when we went). We ate dinner at Shotgun Eddys (15min away) and it was tasty.
This was a great campsite to be able to make a reservation for while visiting Garden Of The God vs the first come first serve sites there. Very private & secluded & just what we needed for some much needed relaxing family time. It gets so dark at night and the multitude of stars you can see at night are so beautiful.
Great area near Garden of the Gods!! Owner gave us plenty of places to go while we were there. Very quiet and close to where we needed to go. I recommend this spot to any and all that want a little bit of “heaven!”
