Green Acres RV Park is strategically located at 236 Main St, Dexter, MN 55926, USA. Its prime position offers unparalleled accessibility, particularly for travelers utilizing Interstate 90 (I-90). This makes it an incredibly convenient stop for those traversing the vast expanse of the United States, whether heading east or west. The ease of access directly off the highway means minimal detours and maximum convenience, allowing you to quickly settle in after a long day of driving.

Dexter, Minnesota, itself is a small, quiet community, providing a peaceful backdrop for your stay. While the park offers a tranquil environment, it’s not isolated. It's just a short drive from larger towns and cities, offering opportunities for dining, supplies, and local exploration. For instance, as noted by a previous visitor, a charming little cafe in Grand Meadow is just seven miles east, providing a taste of local hospitality and good food. This balance of rural tranquility and nearby amenities makes Green Acres RV Park an excellent base for exploring the wider Mower County region.

The local road network around Dexter is well-maintained, ensuring a smooth approach to the campground regardless of the size of your RV. The clear signage and straightforward navigation to 236 Main Street mean you won't waste precious time getting lost. This accessibility is a significant advantage, particularly for those arriving late in the day or during inclement weather, as it simplifies the arrival process and reduces travel stress. The proximity to key transport arteries underscores the park's commitment to traveler convenience, making it a highly desirable stop for any RVer.

Green Acres RV Park is dedicated to providing a comfortable and hassle-free experience for all its guests. The services offered are designed to meet the fundamental needs of RVers, ensuring a pleasant and convenient stay.

  • Full Hookups: Each site at Green Acres RV Park is equipped with full hookups, which typically include electricity (allowing you to power your RV's appliances, air conditioning, and heating), water (with great water pressure as noted by guests, ensuring reliable access for showers, cooking, and drinking), and sewer connections (for convenient waste disposal). This comprehensive setup eliminates the need to frequently move your RV for servicing, providing a true home-away-from-home experience.

  • Self Check-in/Check-out Process: For ultimate convenience and flexibility, Green Acres RV Park operates on a self check-in and check-out system. This allows guests to arrive and depart at their leisure, without being restricted by traditional office hours. The process is described by customers as "easy" and "painless," ensuring a smooth start and end to your stay.

  • Freshly Mowed, Level, and Long Pull-Thru Sites: The park features sites that are not only level, making it easy to park and set up your RV without extensive leveling equipment, but also long pull-thru sites. This design is particularly beneficial for larger RVs and those towing vehicles, as it allows for easy entry and exit without the need to unhook. The sites are regularly maintained, with "freshly mowed" grass, contributing to a tidy and inviting appearance.

  • Picnic Tables and Fire Rings: Many sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, enhancing the outdoor experience. These amenities allow guests to enjoy al fresco dining, gather around a campfire for warmth and camaraderie, and create lasting memories under the Minnesota sky. They add a touch of traditional camping charm to the modern RV park experience.

  • Site Maintenance and Cleanliness: While one review mentioned a site not being "tidy" upon arrival, the park staff promptly responded and committed to addressing the issue, demonstrating a dedication to guest satisfaction and site cleanliness. Subsequent reviews affirm that sites are generally "clean and spacious," indicating a consistent effort to maintain high standards for all guests.

Green Acres RV Park stands out for several key features that enhance the guest experience and make it a highly desirable destination for RVers in Minnesota.

  • Exceptional Value: Priced at a competitive rate, as noted by a customer who found the $35 rate made staying a second night an easy decision, Green Acres RV Park offers excellent value for full hookup sites. This affordability allows travelers to extend their stays or save on accommodation costs, making it a budget-friendly option without compromising on essential amenities.

  • Ideal for Overnight and Extended Stays: Whether you need a place to "pull off the highway for the night" or are looking for a comfortable spot to settle in for a few days, Green Acres RV Park fits the bill. The convenience of its location and the comprehensive services make it suitable for both quick stopovers and longer, more relaxed visits.

  • Responsive Management (as per customer feedback): Despite operating a self check-in system, the park management is generally responsive to guest needs. While one review noted "spotty" communication at times, the overall feedback indicates a willingness to address concerns and ensure guest satisfaction, such as the prompt response to the untidy site issue.

  • Spacious Sites: Guests consistently describe the sites as "spacious," which is a significant advantage for RVers. Ample space between sites provides privacy, room to maneuver, and a more comfortable outdoor living area, distinguishing it from cramped alternatives.

  • Great Water and Water Pressure: A frequently highlighted positive is the "great water & water pressure." Reliable and strong water pressure is crucial for RV living, ensuring comfortable showers and efficient use of water within your vehicle, a detail often overlooked but greatly appreciated by seasoned RVers.

Green Acres RV Park focuses on providing consistent value and a straightforward pricing structure for all its guests. While specific, ongoing "promotions or special offers" are not explicitly detailed in the provided customer reviews, the park's standard rate of approximately $35 per night for a full hookup site is considered highly competitive and a strong value proposition in itself. This transparent and affordable pricing acts as an ongoing "promotion" for many travelers, as it allows for accessible and budget-friendly camping without the need for additional discounts or complex loyalty programs.

Customers have specifically highlighted the affordability as a key factor in their decision to stay for extended periods, such as a second night, indicating that the baseline pricing is attractive enough to encourage longer visits. The emphasis appears to be on delivering consistent, high-quality service and amenities at a fair price, rather than fluctuating promotional deals. For the most up-to-date information on any potential new offerings or seasonal rates, it is always recommended to contact Green Acres RV Park directly. Their commitment to simple, affordable camping is a continuous benefit for all RVers.

Easy on/off i-90. Level, long pull-thru, sites that were freshly mowed. Some picnic tables and fire rings. Great water & water pressure. Easy self check-in. For the $35 rate, we decided to stay a second night and caught up on things. Drove 7 mi east to the little cafe in Grand Meadow. Good!!

Fit our needs of a place to pull off the highway for the night that offers hookups. Painless self check in/out process. Site was not real "tidy" upon our arrival is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Notified the contact and they said they would get it taken care of before the next person rented the site. UPDATE: Stayed here twice again this year on the way to and from our vacation destination. Still the same very simple easy and affordable full hook up sites. Communicating was a little more spotty with the contact this time around, but the sites were clean and spacious. Overall great experience.

Self check in only, so if you have problems, you have to call phone #. Noisy next to i90 but otherwise a decnt cheap park. $30 even a night. One or two full timers, very empty, plenty of lots to choose from. Sewer hookup is weirdly about 10ft away from electric and water. Has on site showers, but it is a little shack on wheels that happens to have showers in it. Good park for a one night stop.

I travel for work, with that being said it’s all year round, different states. This year I ended up in Slayton Minnesota starting in may, come October we were transferred to a place called Dexter. As most people who rv know Minnesota shuts their parks down usually October 1st, due to it being so cold. I spoke with Katie the owner of this particular park in June because I knew we needed to try and find somewhere. I explained the situation to her and told her we were looking to stay from Oct- January. Is there anyway they would possibly stay open for us. She spoke with her husband Craig who ended up getting a dozen sites ready for us for winter weather. These people are to say the least the most awesome people I have met in my travels. U can have fun here. They aren’t uptight with a ton of rules. It’s very well kept and they are there to help with anything u need. Family owned quick store in front of park with fuel station. This is an all around awesome little town and I would definitely return, would prefer to be in the summer months of course. When it started to get cold Craig was coming around to each site putting drain tile, insulation and barrels over the water pipe, also handing out extension cords if u needed them. These two are the best!! So if ur looking to stay somewhere this is the place. Mall of America is not too awful far from here, haven’t been able to go to the ski slopes yet to go tubing. But I hope to go before we leave. Craig has even said that if something by chance would happen with the water he would come around with a tank and fill up peoples holding tanks. I could live here year round with these guys if it was a warmer state in the winter!! Lol hands down wonderful wonderful people. I’d give them 10 stars if I could
