-
Seasonal and Annual Site Options: A significant "offer" at Grey's Point Camp is the availability of seasonal and annual sites. -
Off-Peak Season Rates: Campgrounds often have lower rates during their off-peak seasons (e.g., late fall, winter, early spring). Customer Reviews
We are full time travel family with two kids and we really loved our stay here for 2 weeks. The campground is absolutely beautiful, clean and well run. It’s off the main road to town but quiet and tucked away far enough, we didn’t hear any traffic. The sites are spacious and clean, well kept and level. We were in a large pull through area. Most people here are annuals or settled for the season. Every site had a beautiful and clean set up. Biking around the grounds is so fun especially by the river- the views are gorgeous and there are many well arranged sunset viewing spots with seating and beautiful flowers planted around. The pool and splash pad are a lot of fun and both playgrounds are great for all the kids. We loved going to the little sand beach and dipping in the river. The store has more than you’d need and fun treats and toys for the kids. The dog park is shaded and spacious and right by a beautiful pond and walking area. Staff is so very kind and everyone looks genuinely happy to be working here. There was a great deal of events while we were here over Mother’s Day weekend- farmers market, food trucks, live music, crafts for kids and adults, bingo, games etc. One thing that made no sense at all to me were the worn out and dirty bathrooms by the pool. They just don’t fit in with the rest of the amenities. They are old, small, and not clean. Spider webs, dust and dirt on the floor. Smells like mold. Really, everything else is so well kept I was surprised to find the bathrooms and laundry room be left like that. Location wise this is close to town where you can find some good food, donuts, coffee and shopping. Everything we experienced was great! There’s a new playground in town as well that our kids loved. Overall an excellent experience and we would return to camp here as well as recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
Well , buckle up , this is gonna be a ride lol , my folks bought a permanent on sunset , at first , they loved it , the staff was nice and it advertised as "kid friendly" however it's stocked full of older people who enjoy being in their little clicks , a bunch of Karen's with a sense of entitlement! who have self built bars that party and drink and play loud music but then complain when you do it , smh then it changed management, then the hurricane 🌀, then the pools , it was alot of hard weekends that we still had to pay our full price on , anyway they went up on annual dues and dad said "nope, enough is enough" and we sold our spot !!! I warned ⚠️ dad , for the price there, we could find a bigger and better spot in OBX !!! and that's exactly what Charlie and Debbie Clendenin did!!! We have wonderful memories but unfortunately it had to come to an end !! Now we have a place by the ocean where we can stay year round and play music all night long, and it's actually cheaper, lol !!! We even bought a new golf cart and put it on the back. "Grey's point rejects." hahaha good times !!! No more Karen's, retired judges or probation officers , no more clicks or hang-ups !!! Just wonderful memories ❤️
We loved our 8 day stay at our cabin! Loved the spacious accomodations and all the amenities! Staff very helpful...loved the views and the kayaking!!
I’m new to having a seasonal place in 2025 and I’ve needed help from the maintenance team on several occasions and they have been great. Very helpful, professional and kind.
This place is amazing!! From the moment you drive on to the property to checking in, and staying. This is a beautiful campground. It has amazing views, great options, activities for the children, swimming at the pools or the beach. It is easy to get around especially if you can rent a golf cart. They are $73.00 per day so a bit pricey, I wish they had a weekly deal. If you can rent one it makes getting around a lot easier. We stayed for 7 days and will definitely be back. Love it!! Kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans, forks knives and spoons, a toaster, anything and everything you need. AMAZING!!
