Specific ongoing promotions for Cross Rip Campground are not widely advertised publicly, as is common for smaller, independent campgrounds that rely more on their unique charm and word-of-mouth. However, it is always advisable for interested campers to:
- Contact Directly: The best way to inquire about any current promotions, off-season rates, or special deals for extended stays is to call Cross Rip Campground directly using the provided contact information.
- Check Social Media: Many smaller businesses use their social media pages (e.g., Facebook) to announce last-minute availability, seasonal discounts, or special events. It would be worthwhile to check their social media if available.
- Inquire About Weekly/Monthly Rates: As listed, they offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates for RV sites and varying prices for cabins, suggesting that longer stays generally offer a better value.
Given the "old school" nature of the campground, promotions might be less about flashy discounts and more about consistent, fair pricing and excellent value for the experience offered.

Customer Reviews
Just pulled in today and this place is fricken awesome! To be able to open your camper door and see the ocean is the cherry on top! Both Catherine and Rebecca are some of the nicest people my fiance and I have met on the road. Catherine even stopped to help us with pulling our camper through because me and the future wife are very new to RV life. Looking forward to the next 4 weeks here! I implore you to come see this place for yourself. You'll feel right at home.
We found this gem and stayed for a whole week with 0 complaints. Such a sweet little campground, with plenty of added bonuses. The owner is very nice, the campground is WELL taken care of and each of the staff members work their tales off. Showers and bathrooms are very clean, and the beach area is VERY nice and upkept. The atmosphere is top notch and there is plenty of space between camping spots. Plenty of things to keep the kiddos busy, and I didn’t mind feeding the turtles myself!
This place is truly a gem. It's a smaller more intimate Campground with tent sites, rv sites, and cabins right on the Chesapeake Bay! Beautiful views, nice facilities, and even complementary veggies from the garden. They even had crab traps, canoes, kayaks, and bikes we could use! It's also a very dog friendly Campground which is nice! Loved the time we spent here and looking forward to our next trip!
Someone described it as hidden gem and boy was it true. We camped here a September weekend with excellent weather. Got a great site by the water with great camping neighbors. This campground is small and privately owned by some of the friendliest owners. They will absolutely go out of their way to help. Not the most modern and updated, but the throwback appeal and close to nature location make it such a rare find. You can fish, crab, kayak, swim, disc golf, and chill by the bay watching sailboats or dolphins (yes we saw a pod less than 25 yard away). Kudos to my wife finding this place!
Active, yet peaceful and scenic. Right on the edge of the Chesapeake Bay, a nice beachy area with great views and many activities already mentioned in other reviews. We appreciated how clean the campground was and it’s obvious why this spot is so popular. Seems to be very family oriented and gets quiet fairly early in the evening. Had a great time relaxing, enjoying a fire and had a great night’s sleep. Despite being at the end of the neck, I was surprised that I had strong cellular connectivity which was nice. I believe there is also guest WiFi although I did not use it. Thank you!
