For campgrounds like Hanging Rock Camp, which often cater to a mix of individual campers and special events, promotions and special offers can be less formally advertised than at larger resorts. Given the nature of a more rustic and event-oriented campground, any 'special offers' might be tied to specific event bookings or seasonal availability. Without publicly available information on ongoing deals, interested Oklahoma residents should consider the following possibilities and directly inquire:
- Event-Specific Packages: If attending events like the Annual Blue Note Roundup, there might be bundled pricing that includes camping and event access.
- Off-Season Rates: During less popular camping seasons (e.g., late fall to early spring, depending on weather), the camp might offer reduced rates for campsites.
- Group Discounts: For large groups or organizations booking multiple campsites, there could be negotiated discounts.
- Extended Stay Rates: While primarily a tent camping spot, there might be weekly or monthly rates for those looking for a longer immersion in nature.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on any promotions, current pricing, or special offerings at Hanging Rock Camp, the most effective approach is to contact them directly via phone. Given the direct feedback about reservation issues and lack of on-site contact, calling ahead to confirm availability, site specifics, and any current deals is highly recommended to ensure a smooth camping experience.

Customer Reviews
Arrived on a Friday afternoon and everything appeared great and clean. Located our camping spot and it was a small triangle that our tent hardly fit in and the stakes wouldn't even go in the ground. Spot 8 shouldn't be a spot, but we were told we made reservations and they couldn't change them even though there were other open spots. Our camping neighbors were so loud all night, even had a bright light pointing at our tent, and there wasn't a way to get in touch with anyone. The camp bathroom quickly got disgusting, by Saturday morning, and didn't appear to be cleaned all weekend. I won't be back
Most beautiful hidden little valley. Pristine campsites. Wildlife. Great food. Hanging Rock has hosted the Annual Blue Note Roundup for a dozen or more years, and no place else would have this closeness to nature, beautify, seclusion, and ... did I say a great stage? Nice folks, too. This is a good stretch to float (less impacted). A zen place.
Everything was wonderful for the first 2 days out of the 4 we stayed there. The camp was clean, the mosquitoes were little to none. Lots of large ants though. The only con about it was this older man that worked in the office who kept running people off. We ordered dinner in the cafe up at the front office area and as we waited for our food to get finished this older man maybe in his early 50's came over to us and asked if we had already paid for our food. I was thinking what you are probably thinking.... Yes we already paid we told him. He then TOLD us, not asked us to wait outside in the heat after floating 6 hours down the river. We then went outside trying to avoid any further drama and I see him come out. I then asked him why we had to come outside to wait for our food and that its HOT.... He said..."Trying to keep the area free of traffic and if your hot to go jump in the creek" I said..."Oh heck no! I've spent a lot of money in the past couple of days at this camp and I don't appreciate being treated as trash. Now if there had been a full house in there then I could see how it would make sense to ask us to wait outside but it was just us two. We wont be going back. Its a shame to because it was a nice place to camp.
This place is magical! Camp and float, nice swim area, all facilities and store. Also has 8 rooms to rent. Nestled in a lil cove by the river. Great people and fabulous music events throughout the year on there beautiful outdoor stage! Can't wait to go back!!
For my first camping experience as an adult...it was a great one! I'm so glad I stumbled onto this place! A hidden gem! Beautiful camp site and it seemed reasonably priced. The only con would be the bathrooms...or lack there of. Seems like it could be an issue if busier. Otherwise...this is my new spot and can't wait to camp here again!
