We had a fantastic stay at Hickory Hill in Bath, NY with our RV. The standout for us was the incredibly friendly and thoughtful staff. I had seen a lovely dog behind the counter earlier in the day, and later took my daughter down to meet him (she absolutely loves dogs), but he was out with another staff member at the time. Not long after, that same staff member walked over to our site in the rain with the dog so my daughter could say hello and give him a fuss. It was such a kind, personal touch and meant a lot. The campsite itself was clean and tidy, with loads of activities available to keep everyone entertained. The store was well stocked with games, RV supplies, and other fun bits. If I had to suggest anything, it would be to include a few more basic groceries like milk. Also, the pool was lovely, but could have been a little warmer. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and would absolutely recommend Hickory Hill. It’s a warm, family-friendly place with staff who go above and beyond.
Aug 23, 2025 · Daniel WaltersWe had a great weekend! The reptile show was fun and a great add on. The kids had fun with all the activities around the grounds, tons of things to do to keep busy. We will definitely be back! It would be nice to have a fan put in the bedroom of the cabin.
Sep 18, 2025 · Scotts Auto FixitWe just got back from an unforgettable camping trip, and I can't recommend it enough for families with kids! From the moment we arrived, everything was easy, welcoming, and perfectly set up for a fun family getaway. There was so much for the kids to do! The campground had a safe and clean playground, pools, splash pad, putt putt, pedal karts, and a jumping pillow. Our little adventurers loved biking the trails, collecting sticks, and roasting marshmallows at night. The kids were so busy they completely forgot about their technology! Our cabin offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The location was peaceful with a picturesque view of a pond; ideal for morning coffee on the porch and evening campfires under the stars. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, shower, comfy beds, and a TV (for rainy days). Peace & Quiet (with just the right amount of noise): While it was peaceful and relaxing for the adults, there were plenty of other families around, so we never felt like our kids were being “too loud.” It had that perfect balance of nature and community. Nearby Activities: We loved the close proximity to nearby activities! We went kayaking, took a boat ride, went to the county fair, a museum, and explored the quaint little town of Hammondsport. This camping trip was the perfect way to unplug and reconnect as a family. Our kids made new friends, had non-stop outdoor fun, and we all made memories we’ll never forget. We’re already planning our next trip back! Highly recommend for families with children of all ages!
Aug 19, 2025 · J RMy husband and I, along with my in laws just stayed at Hickory Hill this past weekend and it was nothing but a fantastic experience! Our lodge was so clean and perfectly air conditioned which was needed to help escape the summer humidity! We really loved the woodsy atmosphere and my favorite part was the huge covered front porch! We had visitors come, and had a nice lunch out there, 8 adults and 2 kiddos! Plenty of room to entertain! There’s so much to do at Hickory Hill too. We took advantage of one of the pools, the mini golf, Bingo on Friday night, the fire pit and loved cruising around the grounds on our golf cart! The entire staff is so friendly! We didn’t pass one staff member that didn’t give us a wave! I wish I took photos but I didn’t pick up my phone all weekend! Thanks to Alan and Andrea Lehman for an awesome weekend stay! We can’t wait to come back!
