These ongoing affordable rates act as a continuous benefit, making Hilltop Campgrounds a highly competitive option for Illinois residents looking for accessible and economical outdoor recreation. Nice little campground nestled at the end of the park. $20 a night for water/sewer. The manager was nice, keeps the grounds pretty clean and actually sprayed for mosquitoes. Has an on site bathhouse and dump station. This place was a little tough to find so make sure your maps is set correctly. Also the mosquitoes were pretty bad when we were here but they were that way all throughout the area so I don't think it is anything in particular with the campground, I think it's just the season.
May 04, 2025 · Natalie MorrisonThis place is a hidden gem. The city of Grayville runs it. You will have to call the dispatcher to get someone to get the electricity turned on. If the camp host is not here or after 4 and on weekends. There are 15 campsites all with water and electric. Very peaceful and quiet. This is a must stop!
Nov 13, 2023 · hollenbeck to nowhereAwesome little hole-in-the-wall campground a policeman runs it and my son and I are looking for a shower . He was kind enough to let us take a shower for free. If I was camping I would ten times rather stay here than that KOA it's a nice little spot in the woods overlooking the lake instead of a bunch of campers in a big parking lot like the KOA.
Jun 14, 2023 · Dave HammerThe camp ground is wonderful. It's kinda pull in and park type place for a lot of the plant workers and I'm glad they have Hilltop to these guys it's home
