I lived there in the 80's my friend Rhonda and her parents were managers. My SIL lived in the very 1st trailer on the front corner of the property. Back then it was decent. That's where we lived when my grandma passed away. We used to swim in the "pond" back in the woods across the street. It wasn't until later in life that's where the run off from the dump was. But we were kids so we either didn't care or didn't know it at the time. I attended Lockhart Jr high school, my brother and sister went to Lockhart Elementary, and I was to attend Apopka High school. But we moved before I was able to go to Apopka High school. They were all A rated schools at the time. Also in the heart of Lockhart I remember hearing about "Skin Heads"

Live here for a few months and there was sewage coming out of the ground, crack heads and meth heads filled throughout. The manager is a real dick and nothing got fixed. They charge you extra to have an ac and in fl that is illegal. People have 8 to 9 living in one trailer. Electrical problems never got fixed. The bathtub faucet fell off the wall and never have i seen that before. Worst place ever.
