Promotions or Special Offers

Based on the provided customer reviews, Lost Lake RV Park LLC's pricing structure and any potential promotions are a point of concern for some residents. The review explicitly states that "The price for a 30-amp site has skyrocketed from $650 to $800 a month, and frankly, that’s just too high for what you're getting." This suggests that current pricing might be a deterrent for some potential long-term stays, particularly as "there have been no noticeable improvements to justify the hike."

Therefore, it's unlikely that Lost Lake RV Park is currently running traditional "promotions" or "special offers" in the sense of discounts or added value packages, especially given the feedback about price increases without corresponding improvements.

However, for Florida locals considering a stay, it would be prudent to:

  • Inquire Directly About Current Rates: Prices can change, and the rates mentioned in reviews might not always reflect the absolute current pricing. Calling the park directly is the only way to get real-time rates for daily, weekly, or monthly stays.

  • Ask About Long-Term vs. Short-Term Rates: RV parks often have different pricing tiers for different lengths of stay. While the 30-amp monthly rate was noted as high, shorter stays might have different considerations.

  • Discuss 50-Amp Availability and Pricing: If a 50-amp site is desired, direct inquiry is essential. While reviews suggest these are reserved for permanent residents, understanding the park's policy and any associated long-term rates would be important for those seeking such amenities.

Given the feedback about pricing and perceived lack of investment, potential visitors should approach a booking with clear expectations regarding the cost versus the amenities and services provided. It's advisable to factor in the reported concerns about potential "disorganization" in the office and "errors in billing" when making financial arrangements.

At this time, any "promotion" would likely be in the form of competitive pricing that would need to be confirmed directly with the park management, rather than advertised special deals.

Contact Information

For those interested in inquiring about availability, current rates, or any specific details regarding a stay at Lost Lake RV Park LLC, please use the following contact information:

Inquiries about site types (30-amp vs. 50-amp) and long-term residency policies should also be made directly over the phone.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

Lost Lake RV Park LLC, despite recent challenges in management and pricing, still holds a specific appeal that makes it suitable for certain Florida locals, particularly those who prioritize a quiet, nature-oriented RV experience and value the fundamental amenities that are consistently maintained.

Firstly, for Floridians seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Central Florida's busier areas, Lost Lake offers a genuine "quiet and peaceful, intimate atmosphere." This tranquility is a significant draw for those looking to unwind, enjoy the natural surroundings, and escape the noise of urban or highly commercialized RV resorts. The presence of a scenic lake view from the pool and a nature trail directly across the street means immediate access to calming outdoor activities, a highly valued aspect for residents wanting to connect with Florida's natural beauty without extensive travel.

Secondly, the consistent cleanliness of the park's bathrooms and laundry facilities is a major advantage that directly benefits local RVers, whether they are on a short stay or a longer-term basis. These essential amenities are often critical for comfortable RV living, and Lost Lake's commitment to maintaining them ensures a positive daily experience. Coupled with a "professional, quick to respond, and attentive" maintenance staff, residents can feel confident that their immediate site needs and park infrastructure issues will be addressed efficiently. This reliable on-the-ground support is a strong selling point.

Moreover, its location in Apopka provides a strategic balance for Florida residents. It's far enough from the immediate tourist crush of Orlando to offer a relaxed setting, yet close enough to allow easy access to world-class attractions, diverse dining, shopping, and major medical facilities. This convenience makes it an ideal home base for those who might work in the area, or seasonal residents looking to enjoy Florida's winter without being fully immersed in high-traffic tourist zones.

While potential residents should certainly inquire about current pricing and be aware of reported organizational issues, the core strengths of Lost Lake RV Park – its peaceful environment, well-maintained physical amenities, and excellent maintenance support – mean it continues to hold appeal for Floridians who value these aspects above all else in their RV park choice. It offers a calm and comfortable base for exploring Central Florida or simply enjoying a serene long-term stay.

I’ve had the opportunity to stay at Lost Lake RV Park on three separate occasions now, and I have mixed feelings about it. Let me start with the positives: the park is generally quiet and offers a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. The bathrooms are always clean, which is a big plus, and there's plenty of laundry facilities. The pool is well-maintained and a great place to relax, especially with the scenic view of the lake. It's also nice to see a pair of cranes that live on the property, adding a touch of wildlife to the peaceful setting. The maintenance staff is one of the best features of the park. They are professional, quick to respond, and attentive to resolving any issues. The owner is friendly, but unfortunately, his interest in maintaining the park seems to have faded, and I think that’s taking a toll on the overall experience. The park has definitely started to show signs of neglect, which is disappointing considering the higher prices. Now, the not-so-good aspects: The price for a 30-amp site has skyrocketed from $650 to $800 a month, and frankly, that’s just too high for what you're getting. There have been no noticeable improvements to justify the hike. The owner seems ready to sell, and it feels like he's given up on making any more improvements. This lack of care is evident, especially with the interpersonal issues in the office. The staff seems disorganized, with one woman refusing to use the new computer system, resulting in chaos and two separate sets of books – one electronic and one on paper. This has led to mistakes like double bookings and errors in billing, including problems with electric charges. There’s also some confusion about the available sites. According to the park map, there should be more 50-amp sites available, but in reality, these are reserved for permanent residents, and only 30-amp sites are offered. Lastly, while the park is mostly quiet, there have been some unsettling incidents during my stays. One involved a man crashing his car in what seemed to be a drug-related situation, and another involved a man in his 40s passing away unexpectedly. Additionally, there are strange gatherings of people in the parking lot, though I’m not sure what they're for, which adds to the overall odd vibe of the park. Lost Lake RV Park has a lot of potential, but with the recent price increases and lack of proper management, it feels like it’s heading in the wrong direction. The maintenance staff and the setting are great, but the owner’s apparent disinterest and the office chaos make it hard to recommend at this price point.

I have stayed at this RV park twice. I won't again. While the owner is very nice, the park is in disarray. Almost all the slabs are very old and broken. There's seems to always be confusion about sites. There are strange people gathering in the parking lot at times. They are not from the park. The road outside the park is extremely busy and there are no stoplights fir miles between. I've sat 20 min trying to get out.

I suggest driving by before you stay. The pictures on the website are misleading. Also there are alot of very old rvs in bad shape there. They charge you up front for monthly stays and dont refund your money if you change your mind or your rv doesn't fit where they put you. (Nobody let us know anyway). We are full time RVers and most RV parks don't operate this way.

We loved staying here. We were full time. The only downside is we couldn’t stay longer than 6 months. Barbara was always so sweet to us and our daughters (especially our baby girl). They made us feel welcome. We made great friends with our neighbors as well. Everyone was kind and helpful if we needed help with the RV. We will miss staying there! On another note the bathrooms/showers were always clean!
