Hoosierland Campground prides itself on offering a comprehensive range of services and amenities that cater specifically to its seasonal residents, ensuring a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable long-term stay. Their dedication to quality is evident in various aspects of their operation.
-
Seasonal Campsites with Full Hookups: The campground primarily offers seasonal spots, with the option for water, sewer, and electric connections (including 50A, 30A, and 110V options), making it ideal for RVs and campers looking for extended stays. This allows residents to set up their camper for almost the entire summer, creating a true "home away from home."
-
Brand New Plumbing System: A significant upgrade, the entire campground now boasts brand new plumbing. This ensures reliable and "hot showers" in the bathhouse/shower rooms, a crucial comfort, especially if your camper's shower is occupied or out of service. This investment speaks to the campground's commitment to modern amenities.
-
Clean Bathroom/Shower Rooms: Complementing the new plumbing, the bathhouse and shower rooms are strategically located throughout the campground, ensuring that no matter "where your camper resides the kids have a play park close by. And the same goes for the bathroom/shower rooms," enhancing convenience and comfort.
-
On-site Pay Lake Fishing: For fishing enthusiasts, the campground features a Pay Lake where guests can enjoy fishing. This provides a convenient and accessible option for a favorite pastime directly within the park.
-
Clubhouse with Food and Pool Table: The campground offers a clubhouse that serves "great food" and includes a pool table. This serves as a central hub for social gatherings, dining, and indoor recreation, especially on evenings or during inclement weather.
-

-
Pet-Friendly Environment: The campground welcomes pets, making it easier for families to bring their furry companions along for their extended stays and ensuring that no family member is left behind.
These services underline Hoosierland Campground's dedication to providing a full-featured and comfortable experience for its seasonal residents, fostering a true community environment.
Hoosierland Campground distinguishes itself with an array of features and highlights that create a truly unique and engaging experience for its seasonal residents and day visitors. These aspects foster a strong sense of community and provide diverse recreational opportunities.
-
Family-Oriented Seasonal Community: The recent transition to primarily seasonal residents for overnight stays has cultivated a tight-knit community where "everyone looks out for each other." This fosters a safe and family-like atmosphere, highly valued by long-term campers.
-
Engaging Holiday Celebrations: The campground is renowned for its lively holiday events, including a beloved "Christmas in July" and activities planned for other holidays. These events, often involving "kids in for holidays," create memorable experiences and strengthen community bonds.

This well-organized and entertaining activity involves participants driving their golf carts around the campground collecting cards, often for a cause or campground updates, adding a fun, interactive element for residents.
-
Multiple Playgrounds: To ensure children always have a place to play, there are two playgrounds within the campground – "one up top by the lake and one down bottom," ensuring accessibility no matter where a camper's spot resides.
-
Beach for Swimming: The campground features a beach for swimming, providing a refreshing way to cool off during warm Indiana summers and a popular spot for relaxation and water play.

-
Basketball and Volleyball Courts: For those who enjoy active recreation, the campground offers facilities for both volleyball and basketball, providing opportunities for friendly games and exercise.
-
Live Music Events: Sometimes, the campground hosts bands on the weekend, adding to the lively atmosphere and providing entertainment for residents and visitors. While karaoke night "hadn't taken place since the beginning of summer" (possibly due to past circumstances), the potential for such events adds to the social calendar.
These features collectively create a dynamic and enjoyable environment that caters to a wide range of interests, making Hoosierland Campground a vibrant hub for seasonal fun and community living.
While specific, ongoing "promotions or special offers" in the traditional sense (like discounts for short-term stays) might be less common for a campground primarily focused on seasonal residents, Hoosierland Campground offers value through its structured seasonal rates and unique community-building activities. The available information highlights their approach to pricing and value:
-
Seasonal Resident Focus: The primary "offer" is the opportunity to secure a seasonal spot, which, by its nature, provides consistent access to the campground's amenities and community for an extended period, essentially offering a long-term "home away from home" at a set seasonal rate (details of which would be provided upon inquiry).
-
Inclusive Amenity Access: With every paid campsite, guests gain complimentary access to all amenities. This means the cost of your seasonal spot includes usage of the beach, fishing lake, playgrounds, clubhouse, and sports courts, adding significant value to your stay.
-
Fundraising Events for Campground Improvement: Events like the golf cart poker run are often held "in support of raising money for either a cause or updating the campground in some fashion." While not a direct discount, participation in these events contributes to the ongoing improvement of the campground, benefiting all residents in the long run.
-
Day Use Options: For non-seasonal visitors, the option to "go there for just the day to swim or fish and have a picnic or what not" indicates a daily fee structure for accessing the park's recreational facilities, providing flexibility for casual visits.
Prospective seasonal residents are encouraged to directly contact Hoosierland Campground to inquire about their current seasonal rates, any payment plans, and to understand the full value proposition of a long-term commitment to the community.

Customer Reviews
Absolutely love the place. I’ve had a camper up there for at least four years now got married there. We have a wonderful time. We have golf cart poker run. We do a lot of kids in for holidays. We have Christmas in July. We could that look back in need it’s a great place to be.
We have a spot we pay for that's seasonal. We spend almost the whole summer pretty much living there. The kids love the place. They've just recently made it to seasonal residents only. You can of course go there for just the day to swim or fish and have a picnic or what not. But when it comes to staying it's seasonal residents only and i actually love this because no longer do you have to worry about strangers being there over night and it just feels safe. You get to know all the people residing there and it becomes like a great big family. Everyone looks out for each other. Sometimes they have bands on the weekend. They used to have karaoke night but for some reason that event hadn't taken place since the beginning of summer. Maybe due to covid I'm not sure. They have a clubhouse also with a pool table and great food. They do a poker run event every now and then in supprt of raising money for either a cause or updating the campground in some fashion. Everyone runs around on their golf carts collecting their cards . It's fun and the way they organize it is interesting and entertaining to play. This place is great and the kids don't even want to come home 3/4ths of the time. There's a playground up top by the lake and one down bottom so no matter where your camper resides the kids have a play park close by. And the same goes for the bathroom/shower rooms. And the plumbing is brand new around the whole campground so now you can look forward to a hot shower if the shower in your camper is either out of service or occupied by someone else. So overall this place is really great!!!!!!
It's a great friendly campground the owner is a great guy and peaceful place to come to safe environment and all n all just funicular recremend this place to anyone
Wonderful! My toddler could touch almost anywhere in the water which made both mom and daughter feel safer. My oldest not quiet a teen yet also had fun swimming and playing both in the water and on the playground equipment. We would love to have a similar place in the future 💚
I took my daughter there to go swimming it's a nice little beach on a lake perfect for little ones. And the water doesn't get to deep and there's some playground equipment right by the swimming area! Nice fun experience for adults and kids I will definitely go swimming there again!
