I-10 Orange RV Park About
Howdy, fellow RVers traversing the great state of Texas! If you're on the lookout for a convenient, peaceful, and amenity-rich spot to park your home on wheels, whether for a quick overnight stay or a longer visit, then I-10 Orange RV Park in Orange, Texas, is a destination you'll want to consider. Strategically located for easy access and boasting modern conveniences, this park offers a straightforward and comfortable experience for all travelers. While some parks might focus on elaborate resorts, I-10 Orange RV Park delivers on the essentials with a strong emphasis on practical features that make a real difference during your travels, especially when the Texas weather decides to surprise you.
Location and accessibility are paramount for any RV park, especially for those on the move. I-10 Orange RV Park is perfectly positioned at 9395 Old Hwy 90, Orange, TX 77630, USA. As its name suggests, this park offers incredibly easy access to I-10, making it an ideal stop for those traveling across Texas or into Louisiana. This prime location means you can quickly get on and off the interstate, saving valuable time and effort, which is particularly beneficial for tired travelers or those on a tight schedule. Despite its proximity to the interstate, reviews highlight that the park maintains a "very peaceful" atmosphere, allowing you to relax without constant road noise. Furthermore, its location in Orange, Texas, places you in a region known for its industrial activity and natural beauty, with various attractions and essential services nearby. From dining options to shopping centers and local entertainment, everything you need is within convenient reach, adding to the practicality of your stay. The blend of effortless highway access and local convenience makes I-10 Orange RV Park a smart choice for any RVer.
I-10 Orange RV Park prioritizes core services that enhance the comfort and functionality of your RV stay. While it may not feature extensive resort-style amenities, the park excels in providing high-quality, practical services that truly matter to RVers. Here’s a closer look at what they offer:
- Full Hookups: Every RV site is equipped with essential full hookups, including water, sewer, and electrical connections (30 and 50 amp service). This ensures that your RV has all the necessary utilities for a self-contained and comfortable stay.
- Private Restrooms and Showers: A significant positive highlighted by guests is the availability of "private restrooms / shower" facilities. This offers a welcome alternative to using an RV's often-small bathroom, providing more space and comfort. These facilities are also noted for being "super clean and nice," which is a top priority for many travelers.
- Excellent Laundry Facilities: The park provides "great laundry" facilities with "five shower and laundry" units. This ample provision means less waiting and more convenience for residents needing to refresh their clothes, a crucial amenity for both short-term visitors and long-term guests.
- Fiber Optic Internet: A standout feature is the provision of "fiber optic" internet. Unlike shared campground Wi-Fi that can be slow and unreliable, guests have "their own gigabyte that they do not have to share." This translates to "very fast" internet with "no issues with downloading movies and or working on our computers or using our surveillance cameras," making it ideal for remote work, streaming, and staying connected.
- Friendly and Polite Owner: The owner is consistently described as "very friendly and polite." This level of personal customer service contributes significantly to a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience for guests.
I-10 Orange RV Park boasts several key features and highlights that make it a highly desirable stop for RVers, particularly those who value practicality and a comfortable base. These features directly address common challenges faced by travelers:
- All-Concrete Roads and Pads: This is a major highlight, especially in a region prone to rain. The park features "concrete roads and pads," which means "no muddy shoes when unhooking or walking the dog," even after "several inches" of rain. This concrete construction ensures cleanliness and stability, a huge advantage over gravel or dirt lots.
- Dedicated High-Speed Fiber Optic Internet: As mentioned, the individual gigabyte fiber optic internet connection is a significant selling point. This reliable and fast internet allows guests to work, stream, and connect without the typical slowdowns experienced in shared RV park Wi-Fi networks.
- Peaceful Environment: Despite its easy access to I-10, the park maintains a "very peaceful" ambiance. This quiet setting is perfect for resting and recharging, making it an ideal choice for a good night's sleep after a long day of travel.
- Pet-Friendly Design: While not explicitly stated with a dedicated dog park, the mention of "walking the dog" on concrete pads implies a welcoming environment for pets, which is essential for many RV travelers.
- Convenience for Overnight Stays: The park is explicitly noted as working "great for you" if you "need an easy overnight camping place on I-10." Its straightforward access and essential amenities make it a perfect quick stop.
- Direct Access to I-10: The park's name itself highlights its best feature for travelers – immediate access to the interstate. This minimizes detours and maximizes travel efficiency.
While I-10 Orange RV Park's strength lies in its core amenities and convenient location rather than extensive recreational facilities, specific, publicly advertised "Promotions or Special Offers" are not detailed in the provided customer reviews. However, like many RV parks, especially those catering to both transient and potentially long-term guests, there may be various rates or incentives available.
It is always advisable to inquire directly with the park about current pricing and any offers that might apply to your specific travel plans. You might find:
- Overnight Rates: Competitive daily rates for quick stops.
- Extended Stay Discounts: Reduced rates for weekly or monthly stays, which are common for RV parks that accommodate workers or longer-term visitors.
- Seasonal Offers: Though not mentioned, some parks might adjust rates based on demand during different times of the year.
Given the owner's friendly and polite nature, contacting them directly via phone is the best way to learn about the most current availability and any special rates that could make your stay even more beneficial.

Customer Reviews
The place has five shower and laundry the owner is very friendly and polite. This place very peaceful and also the Internet is fiber optic so you have your own gigabyte that you do not have to share which is very fast and we’ve had no issues with downloading movies and or working on our computers or using our surveillance cameras.
This RV park has some big positives and a few quirks. Positives: Easy access to I-20 Concrete roads and pads Great laundry Private restrooms / shower Quirks: No obvious office. There is an OFFICE sign that points to the right. It turned out to be an unmarked 5th wheel. No picnic table or fire pit. Strange utilities setup. The electric box was not tall enough to accommodate an external surge protector. The sewer was located under an electrical box and too close to the water faucet. The quirks were minor annoyances and far outweighed by the all concrete construction when we stayed because it rained several inches that night. No muddy shoes when unhooking or walking the dog. If you need an easy overnight camping place on I-10 then this will work great for you. If you need a pool, camp store, propane, picnic table or fire ring then it won’t work for you. We would definitely stay here again when passing through.
We stayed a few nights traveling through to West Texas. Concept pads are a plus. The laundry and bathrooms were in need of cleaning as we didn’t feel comfortable using them as they were. Don’t think we will be staying again.
Awesome stay... Will definitely stay again on our way back through in 2 weeks. The kids had no problem playing games or streaming TV. A+
Nice and quiet. It's a little hard to get to but worth the effort. The bridge is out right by the feeder and you have to go down the feeder and turn on a street
