Very quiet, peaceful and friendly campground. Close to everything you need while feeling like your way out in the country.
Feb 04, 2018 · D UVery clean! Our cabin was very clean and smelled nice. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. The trees and mountain were beautiful to look at. The birds serenaded us. It is an older campground but well maintained and cleanliness is the most important factor to me. Also, the showers were hot. We stayed two nights in one of the rustic cabins.
Aug 06, 2017 · Janet WernerI arrived at this Campground and was greeted by a nice lady named Cindy. She told me I could set up my tent anywhere which was nice and said that we're not high maintenance here. The shower I had was hot and they had automatic air fresheners as I walked in the bathroom door. I pitched my tent in between two RVs next to the nicely flowing creek.
Oct 08, 2018 · Keith KRun Down! We arrived at Idle Acres, knocked on the office door and were told to wait in the camp area, that he would be right down to check us in. Twenty minutes later he finally showed up. We rented a cabin for $40. Once inside the cabin the disconnected frig was opened to our horror. The cabin contained a box of blue berries and a pint of ice-cream at least a month old. The trash can was not empty and the bed covers were dirty. A prevous renter left a kids toy between the matress and the wall of the cabin indicating no attemp to clean the matress covers. In addition there was an empty beer bottle on the porch and a old kids bike. The wash room contains two showers, each requiring money to operate. The thermostate on the hot water tank is set rather low as it is just enough to get a warm shower, not hot. The light in the room did not work so it was a dark shower. Don't leave your kids alone as there are was automotive windshield cleaner and other chemicals laying out. The owner has a jar in the bath rooms for donations. Donations for what??? The one tolet was leaking water onto the floor. I would call the plumbing sub-standard. We were forced to stay here due to your situation but I would suggest if you are considering staying, take my comments serously.
Sep 18, 2011 · David SA nice wooded area with a creek running thru the property. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you're looking for the pool, fitness center, etc. this is not the place but if nature and relaxation is your thing you are at the right place.
