This is a nice place to get away for some solitude. You can swim at the boat launch but it’s rocky. We took floaties out into deeper waters. It’s very picturesque.

Sep 06, 2023 · Will JewellHands down for sure this was the best birthday ever camping in the State Forest Campground and a rustic one two boot courage incorporated is a great organization they provided everything for this camping free of charge and who know you can bake a birthday cake in the middle of the woods in a rustic campgrounds that was awesome the meals we we're awesome and very filling and far more than I could ever eat it's always plenty of food plenty of laughter and lots of fun I hope I get invited again next year that would be great had a lot of fun fishing swimming pool I would recommend this campground to anybody very clean quiet and wake up in the morning to the loons singing me a song great Campground with fishing swimming in the evening we had a great time singing around the campfire with my new friends kindled Spirits if you will courage incorporated is a nonprofit organization so they can use some donations you can use all the donations so just Google courage Incorporated of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan this camping trip is one that I'll remember for the rest of my life never had a birthday like that probably never will again camping was awesome the people were awesome food was awesome everything is awesome a blast nice nice birthday good place to go again hats off to all my courage incorporated friends for inviting me to join you on this trip thank you so very much I loved it and all of you people are superb
