This campground is convenient to the State Parks in the area. Full hookup with gravel lots. Most sites appeared to be easy to get whatever rig you have into. Big rigs space is limited but can be accommodated. Internet service works well. Negative is a number of permanent campers in various stages of neglect. The kids and adults have no boundaries in regards to walking or biking through your campsite. This includes needing to watch your feet to keep from tripping the kids passing through. Confronting the kids and telling them to walk around only gets the manager banging on your door to deal with the complaints from the kids parents of why did you tell them to walk around. You must sign the park rules when you check in. Interesting that one highlighted rule is not to walk through the campsite. This rule seemed to only apply to non regular customers. Will not be a return customer. If you have kids that would enjoy the playground, or you intend to use this as a base to visit the nearby parks then this campground fits the need.

We stayed here while in West Virginia. The camp sites are not paved, but almost perfectly even. There was a good amount of space between the other sites and a good amount of trees, so that helped keep the rv cool. The owners were very nice and the store is well stocked. They also make food on site, which is nice when you don't want to go anywhere. The laundry room looked clean and the machines looked new. The store is very clean. If you need a place to stay in Pipestem, this is a good place to stay. It is a great location! Thank you, Dara!
