Access to the campground is quite convenient for those traveling from various parts of Indiana and beyond. It is situated approximately two miles south of Interstate 64, directly off Indiana State Road 37 (Exit 79). This makes it relatively easy to reach by vehicle, even for larger RVs and trailers. The most amazingly beautiful campground yet! You will find yourself completely immersed in the grandeur of the forest. So quiet! So peaceful! Good for the soul. I don't like vault toilets but there is one flush toilet and shower building. The roads are very windy and have some pot holes, but it's easy to back up into the site because of the angle of the site. Sites are big and very spread apart. However service is only 30 amp and no sewer or water. Water is available at the shower building which is close by. We love this place! Lots to explore here: historic house, cemetery, lake, hiking, biking, etc.

Jul 22, 2024 · Graham ZBeautiful hidden gem!! Came here in 2014 and 2022 and had great experience both times. Nice shady spots that are spaced apart. Camp host Lonnie was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms clean and quiet campground. 5 stars for the beautiful campground, but the showers were disappointing as they only stayed on for 5 seconds without holding it in, which makes for a difficult shower. I get the concept, but 5 seconds, come on. And also disappointed we got wet firewood so we were unable to have a fire the nights we were there. Checked out the lake and historical house, which was nice. There wasn't a playground at the campground, but 2 swings and horseshoes by the shower house. The beautiful and quiet campground will have us visit again someday!
Jul 20, 2022 · Rachel DCampground hosts were great. Place was clean and well kept. Sites were roomy. There was one pit toilet for 4-5 campsites. It was the first campground we encountered that was 100% handicapped accessible showers. Only complaint was 1 there was no light around the toilet at night. Could have been lights were out during our visit and 2 we had severe weather come through and we were in a tent. Hosts drove by several times through the night to make sure we were ok.
