Jack Graves Scout Reservation is conveniently located at 101 East St, Broken Arrow, OK 74014, USA. This address places it within the thriving city of Broken Arrow, a major suburb of Tulsa. While it's in a well-developed area, the reservation itself spans a significant acreage, providing an immersive natural environment once inside its boundaries.
Accessibility to the reservation is generally straightforward, but as a dedicated Scout facility, it requires proper coordination. As noted in reviews, "The only issue sometimes is timing to get onto the property. Proper coordination with the ranger is a must to make for a smooth weekend of Scout fun." This means that guests or groups planning to visit should communicate in advance with the reservation staff or ranger to ensure smooth access and adherence to any specific entry protocols.
Despite these coordination requirements, its location in Broken Arrow means that visitors have easy access to the broader amenities of the Tulsa metropolitan area. Major highways like the Creek Turnpike (OK-364) and State Highway 51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) are readily accessible, facilitating commutes from various parts of Oklahoma. This provides convenient access to local grocery stores, medical facilities, and other services in Broken Arrow, ensuring that while the reservation offers a wilderness experience, essential urban conveniences are not far away. -
Group Rates: Discounts for large scouting units or educational groups booking facilities for an extended period or specific programs.
-
Program Packages: Fees that include access to specific activities, such as the COPE course, or structured outdoor education modules.
-
Early Bird Registration: For annual events or summer camps, there might be reduced rates for early registration.
For the most accurate and current information on costs associated with using the facilities, booking events, or participating in programs, interested parties (e.g., Scout leaders, school groups, youth organization representatives) should directly contact the reservation. Customer Reviews
It has an excellent hiking trail that spans 2.3 miles and winds around like an old country road. It passes a plethora of beautiful nature and 3 different ponds. Enjoy!!!
Been here several times for different events. Great camping and classroom facilities. Good for Cub scout activities, COPE, Scouts and more. The only issue sometimes is timing to get onto the property. Proper coordination with the ranger is a must to make for a smooth weekend of Scout fun.
Natural beauty and educational fun for every single scout & their family!
Really nice place for the kids to camp. Good bathrooms for a campground. The pavilions are nice. 2 complaints which aren't really that bad. 1st is that the only place for a fire pit is all the way at the back of the camp. And 2nd the pond is so full of algae you can't fish. Maybe add in some carp to clean it up.
The attention to detail made everything special! My family definitely enjoyed the holiday magic. Even if you don't have little ones, you'll want to add this to your Christmas lights list.
