Grantsburg is located in Burnett County, in the northwestern part of Wisconsin, an area celebrated for its rich timberlands, numerous lakes, and the scenic St. Croix River, which forms part of the Wisconsin-Minnesota border.
One of the most significant advantages of this campground's location is its direct proximity to the St. Croix River. The campground is notably "surrounded by a curve in the river," offering picturesque views and easy access to water-based activities. Furthermore, a particularly charming feature highlighted by visitors is that "on a quiet night, you can hear water rolling over the Memory Lake Dam," indicating its close relationship with the local aquatic landscape and the tranquil sounds of nature.

One critical point from reviews to be aware of is a reported issue with site reservation management, where a reserved site was not allocated as expected. Customer Reviews
Nice little park close to almost everything, people are cool, not alot to do in the the park for kids. I guess you need to be creative.
The facilities are clean and well kept. The camp ground is surrounded by a curve in the river; on a quiet night, you can hear water rolling over the memory lake dam. BUT, we reserved a camping site a full year ago-paid half the price when we made it...They did not give us the site we paid for. We were parked a distance from the rest of our group, and the site we should have had went unused this weekend. I love the place. I am not happy with the management.
The campground itself is very nice, friendly campers nice lots, level campsites. Nice walking trail and setting by the river. We reserved 3 sites together and when we checked in 1 of us was moved away from the group. The lady that checked us in was so completely rude and for no reason. Our group checked in at 3 separate times and she was rude to each of us.
A real nice place to spend tihe weekend . Nice clean park.
We have been coming here since 1987 once or twice a year. Love the area and campground is always neat. No Wifi though.
