While specific, ongoing promotions for Jamestown Campground are generally tied to the broader Pennsylvania State Parks system rather than exclusive to this particular campground, it is always advisable to check the official Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) website or contact the park office directly for the most current information. State parks sometimes offer seasonal discounts or special packages, especially during off-peak times. For instance, the DCNR website occasionally features "Special Camping Deals" from various campgrounds across Pennsylvania, though these can change frequently.
A common opportunity offered by the Pennsylvania State Park system, which could be beneficial for frequent visitors or those considering an extended stay, is the campground host program. Jamestown Campground typically offers several host positions that provide free camping in exchange for assisting park personnel for a set number of hours per week (usually 40 hours) with a minimum stay (often four weeks). These host sites usually come with full hookups or 50/30-amp electric service, offering a great incentive for those who love to spend prolonged periods in nature and are willing to contribute to the park's operation.
Additionally, booking in advance, especially during peak season, is always recommended. While not a "promotion," securing your desired site well in advance can often lead to a smoother and more flexible camping experience. Keep an eye on the Pennsylvania State Parks reservation portal, as any last-minute deals or available walk-up sites might be listed there, though they are subject to availability and often booked quickly.

Customer Reviews
Some of these sites have all hookups. Others do not. Many bathrooms in different locations. Some non-powered sites are close to the water. You can dock your boat overnight for $8 resident and $11 non-resident of pennsylvania.
The campground is awesome and has beautiful views. It has its own beach access, boat launch, fishing dock, and playground. There are bathrooms located around the park. The bathrooms & showers are private rooms which is nice IMO. We stayed at a tenting site that was waterfront and the view was beautiful. We fished right from our campsite. Would definitely camp here again!
This is a very nice State Park Campgrounds. The camp seems to be well laid out and is spacious. The sites in our area were level and had plenty of room. They seem have plenty to do for kids, and a camp store. We enjoyed riding our bicycles around the campground. The restrooms in our area were new and very nice. We're definitely going to revisit this campground.
Pennsylvania has dumb rules. On the website, it said no washing dishes or hands at the camp site. We asked a Ranger about it, and he called Jamestown office, and they said just to do it at campsite. Site it's self was on a hill covered with leaves and had hanging branches (widow makers) right over only flat area. They have 4 bathroom locations with 4 shower/bathroom. The dumb part is that if you use a shower, it eliminates a toilet. There are too many sites for 16 bathrooms and showers total. There were lines for bathrooms in the morning and after dinner time. Bottom line Pennsylvania side of Pymatuning Lake sux.
Quiet, shady, large campground, great for families. There is a beach, a small camp store and many playgrounds. The bathrooms were all single toilets with a shower in each stall, which caused lines, all day.
