We had fun. We had cabin 39 which was in a great location to amenities. However the seating is a 2 person couch and 3 bar stools. We bought camp chairs for better comfort. The loft mattresses are very thin and hard. Pools were great, we had fun fishing, the location is great. The wifi is non existent, seriously don't bother. The pedal cars are in rough shape, the Mini golf is in disrepair. You have to buy the gemstones bags at the rangers station, there is no attendants at the sluicing station. We rented a golf cart which was very helpful but that poor 131 rode rough and was loud like a lawn mower. The grounds are lovely. The food at the grill was really good however limited in choices. We enjoyed ourselves but realistically the resort needs several upgrades just due to wear and tear.

So the room was not great. We got the smallest one but the picture on the site did not match the place we were put in. The inside was the same but outside was completely different. It was not a log cabin type place it was a white triangle shaped building. Very small which we expected. Everything else was amazing. So many activities for kids and they loved it! Staff was great!! We will definitely go again but avoid the smaller rooms to stay in.

Stayed in an efficiency cabin two nights. It was nice on the outside, but pretty worn on the interior. Ants all over the kitchen and creaky beds. I wouldn’t t walk on the floor without socks. Definitely need an interior refresh. Great location off interstate with food options close by. Nice amenities.

Definitely not a “premium” experience at our “premium” tent site. Expensive for an unlevel campsite with bare necessity amenities. $109 a night. Ridiculous. Not even a post to hang a lantern on. They didn’t come pick up our trash like they said they would. There was coaxial cable sticking out of the ground that we couldn’t pull and had to keep tripping over. There was trash all over the campsite that we were constantly picking up, There were a couple of activities, but they would change at the last minute into something that wasn’t worth doing. But you get charged a “resort fee” which you think would include the amenities, but guess what? It’s extra for certain things. Many of the facilities are in disrepair and in desperate need of updating. Rules are not enforced. Kids on scooters everywhere running people over when there are signs that say no scooters. Quiet hours at 11pm, but loud music from multiple sites persisted well after midnight. Quiet hours until 8am, and children are supposed to be at their tent sites, but I was woken up at the crack of dawn by kids running past my tent screaming. No fireworks, but the tent behind us was setting them off. The bathhouse was dirty when we arrived and was dirtier when we left. No toilet paper available; there was hair, dirt, and makeup everywhere. It wasn’t touched the entire time we were there. We ended up leaving early because it was such a poor experience. This is not what you expect when you pay money for camping.

Family and I are on a 6 night stay here in Cave City. So far all things have been okay. We visited the lake along with the obstacle course. While the kids had a blast on the course, it probably would have been a bit more relaxing/fun for the parents to know that their children were being watched properly by the life guard on duty. We had a couple of kids get stuck and or couldn’t get themselves out from in between the pads, all while the lifeguard sat there blankly staring doing nothing even with them yelling for help.
