Jun 26, 2024 · KaylaHad a short trail through the forest which crosses Oakton street with fast busy traffic. Poor lighting at roadway makes it dfiicult to see pedestrians also small almost hidden parking area
Dec 24, 2020 · Miguel WinterpachtWalked the trail. Very clean but a little muddy since it had rained this morning. Quiet and serene... almost too quiet! 🙂

Sep 30, 2018 · Taylor ChildersNO STARS! All they are doing is recycling the units. They don’t care about the tenants needs at all and they don’t assist them with any type of repairs. They would rather put you in a patched up place that’s falling apart. Then charge you for the damages which aren’t your fault at all because you’re under contract even though they patch the same things up all the time on purpose! All they want is your money! Definitely NOT quality Service. Worst place I’ve tried to rent from! I’m forced to move out and have officially lost over $3,000.
Oct 25, 2023 · Gregory Walker, JrYeah, this place is a dump next to a rail yard.
Sep 12, 2024 · daniel parkerI was asked to visit this place by W.T.P. and it's the perfect example of corrupt Lemont police and politicians. To the people who live here or the people who truly care about other people, make sure to start going to the Town Hall meetings and demanding these corrupt politicians are aware of the problem and inform them they will be held accountable if things don't change. If you really want to fix this problem we need to PETITION to be removed from the corruption of Cook County who is currently severely bankrupt and keeps siphoning money from the working class (which Pritzker himself has called "The new poverty". You can sit on your hands or you can stand up for yourself and nade your voices heard. According to the last 2 meetings Lemont Politicians have been saying Lemont is a great community which is a complete lie. For into on the past meetings as well as upcoming meeting you SHOULD show up at every week until they fix it. And remember "unincorporated Lemont" is nothing now than a political technicality that no one has fixed for decades. https://www.lemont.il.us/government/village-clerk/agendas-and-minutes-center
Aug 28, 2024 · Charles Montgomery SuchmanYou will never be able to sell your mobile home after you move one in or buy one from them. They will force you to move it or "give"/leave it for them should you ever decide to move. Keep this in mind! The main drive is horrible and unkempt. Potholes and washed out gravel. Their snow removal is okay...but they never salt and the main drive turns into a hazardous ice plain.
Jul 08, 2019 · Mark TI understand the landlord is very very slow to solve major sewage problems.
Feb 04, 2023 · Dick RinerNot maintained drive way bad condition hazard in winter dead trees branches falling

Dec 31, 2017 · Staci FahnGreat camp for a weekend scouting adventure. The DuPage Co rangers are very accommodating and there is decent hiking trails of various lengths.
Mar 30, 2023 · Dave LeahyOk ok
Jul 13, 2023 · Barathwaj Reddy GadheBlackwell is an amazing place for Scouts to camp.
Jun 10, 2023 · Doug HaferContinues to be a great opportunity for Scout groups to get a taste of the outdoors without be too far from civilization. Our Pack has used these sight several times now and no complaints, just praise! Running water, firewood, bathrooms and very will maintained campsites.
May 12, 2018 · Jeremy GinsbergBest youth group camping in DuPage.
Apr 29, 2023 · David BohnsackMy Scouts loved, it great camp sites, and giant mowed game field. Fishing and hiking
Nov 17, 2022 · Brett WentzFantastic place for a Scout campout
Nov 21, 2024 · Steve NygrenSo beautiful, quiet and peaceful, and clean. Any person we came across was pleasant (read: this place attracts good vibes). Always a good visit.
Sep 16, 2018 · Genevieve _RHWe camped here overnight with our Cub Scouts, and overall, it was a very good experience. We utilized Site 2, as it was higher and drier after recent rains. Both sites have a convenient gravel road that can be used with Ranger permission to drop of a trailer/supplies. Site 2 was surrounded by trees, but is in a clearing, so you can see the night sky, and not worry about falling branches in wind. It was great that plenty of firewood is included in the permit, and the fire pit area has built in seating. As many have said, the site is surrounded by three railroads, with the closest being about a hundred yards to the north. Be prepared for train horns. Also, this is in the flight path for airports, so those will be going overhead every 15 minutes (though definitely easier to ignore). Also, be prepared that the outhouses are very "primitive". They are clean in the sense that the surfaces are cared for, but be prepared for some strong odors. Also, the toilet stalls have dividers, but no doors, so plan ahead if you want some privacy.
Oct 16, 2023 · Quinten HoogenboomThere is plenty of room for a large group and the sites are tucked away from the rest of the park. A pavilion is located on site if the weather turns or a large group needs to sit together. There is firewood provided too! The only negative would be the proximity to the train tracks and frequency of trains that pass through the night. Otherwise a great place to camp, hike and fish!
Nov 06, 2022 · Dave McCoyPleasant forest preserve. Latrines are kept clean. Enjoyable place to visit during the day. Camping overnight was made difficult by the adjacent train track. Trains blow their horns at all hours of the night making sleep nearly impossible.
Jun 03, 2018 · Heidi PeetersThis is a great youth camping spot. Our Scouts BSA troop felt very welcome. The campsite and park are very well maintained. They drain well, too. In spite of heavy downpours the night before the site was not very muddy. We'll be back.
Apr 24, 2022 · Cate MurschelSafe and well kept. Great place to camp for families or first-time campers. Staff is very helpful. Hiking trails are scenic. I had a great time with my dog.
Dec 29, 2024 · Coy HarrisWe had a fantastic time at this campground last weekend! The site is very well-managed, and the campsites were impeccably clean. The friendly campground staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The bathrooms and showers were maintained to a high standard, and the kids had a blast at story night. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. There are no playgrounds for kids, which would be a great addition. Additionally, the trolleys provided for transporting gear from the parking area to the campsites were in poor condition, with broken wheels that made hauling our stuff quite difficult. Despite these minor inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended for a quick escape from the town!
Sep 04, 2024 · Sharat KThe best tax money spent in the last ten years. You can pitch a tent or rent a cabin. Get away just a short drive from Chicago.
Jan 26, 2025 · Paul JohnsonI recently attended an event at Camp Reinberg in Deer Grove. Elaine did an excellent job attending to all the needs of the group. It was a wonderful gathering and I'm glad Camp Reinberg was chosen for it. I look forward to returning soon. Thank you Elaine!
Sep 30, 2024 · Mary HiroseCamp Reinberg stands out as a hidden gem in the northwest suburban area, offering one of the most well-maintained campgrounds we've experienced. During our overnight tent camping adventure, when temperatures dropped to -5 degrees Fahrenheit, we were impressed by the availability of a warming station and impeccably clean bathrooms. The facility boasts breathtaking views, and the gift shop, open and staffed all night, adds to the overall convenience. The helpful staff, along with the option of cabins in various sizes, make it a highly recommended destination for families interested in camping throughout all seasons.
