Grass is dead so it's like walking on straw. Bathroom were okay. I like that they had showers. The large canopy was nice.
May 16, 2025 路 scott whittetI came here from MN for Lilies War with my dad and boyfriend. We all had a great time. The site is well maintained and, ignoring all the bonuses from the event, it was comfortable and seemed to be taken care of. The showers were a bit rough (not on the RV side), but they must've gotten a new water heater because I never got truly cold water. Make sure you wear sun screen and watch for bugs. I was eaten alive this year, which isn't typical of the area. Come check out the war next year for all the amazing things I'm not mentioning here. Photos are of our camp and my elbow covered in bites after one night (between 4 and 7 bites)
Jun 18, 2024 路 Ellie J.Great camping site! All three areas have great views of the lake, which results in beautiful sunrises/sunsets.
Oct 10, 2021 路 Mike RobertExcellent location for group camping. We stayed in Area 3. Beautiful and spacious fire pit, lots of picnic tables & a pond close by. There is a grill plate attached to the fire pit and there is a small stand alone grill like what you'd see at other park areas. Bathroom situation is pretty decent and very clean. 馃憤馃徎 Def would recommend any youth group for this experience together.
Oct 02, 2022 路 Gretchen Leigh WillsonGreat place and well maintained but not enough bathroom facilities for really large groups. Not much electricity for handicapped either. So would be 5 star for a small group not needing those.
