Promotions or Special Offers

As a smaller, more personalized camping option, KZ Rving might not feature extensive, publicly advertised promotions in the same way larger commercial campgrounds do. However, their value proposition lies in their unique offerings and hospitable approach. For those considering a stay, here are general types of considerations or potential "offers" for KZ Rving:

  • Competitive Pricing for Basic Services: The core "offer" is providing essential hookups (electricity, water, Wi-Fi) and a quiet place to stay at a practical price point, especially valuable for those who don't need full resort amenities. Their Hipcamp listing shows current pricing.
  • Personalized Hospitality: The exceptional kindness and helpfulness of the host, as highlighted in reviews, can be considered a significant value-add that goes beyond monetary discounts. This level of service is a promotional feature in itself.
  • Flexible Stays: The ability to accommodate overnight stays for "tired travelers" without the minimum night requirements often found at larger parks is a valuable flexibility.
  • Inclusion of "Extras": The complimentary Wi-Fi, the offer of an extension cord for tent electricity, and assistance with leveling wood are added benefits that might typically incur extra charges at other locations, making them de facto "special offers."
  • Proximity to Attractions: While not a discount on the stay itself, the convenient location near the Buckeye Trail and Cedar Point effectively "promotes" the value of staying at KZ Rving as a base for exploring these popular Ohio destinations.

I stayed here for 1 night while thru hiking the Buckeye Trail. There’s a nice space in the grass with tree coverage for tent set up, and Keith even plugged in an extension cord so I could get electricity in my tent. Keith also shares the wifi password! Having electricity and wifi in my tent was awesome. The area is quiet and the road is not too busy so I slept very well. Would definitely camp here again.

We saw this place on maps and only needed a place to park and sleep. He offered power and water as well which was nice. Even gave my husband some wood to level us out better than our plastic levelers. Quiet place. Lots of nature. Farming area which is gorgeous. Nice folks offering a place to tired travelers. Grateful for KZ!

I used KZ Rving on my cross country road trip that I ran with an EV. Keith was very accommodating to my schedule and had everything setup for me to drive in, hookup, and sleep. It was great to have a private place to sleep car camp; waking up to a full battery and climate on overnight. Worked great!

My husband and two friends are on a coast-to-coast bike ride, with two of us riding each day, and two driving support vehicles. We found KZ RVing, and it was less than a mile off the bike trail through Clyde, OH. Keith, the owner, and his son even came and joined us for the last 10 miles or so of the bike ride. We parked both vehicles (24’ each) in his drive. Water, electric and a fire pit were available. The side yard was very nice, with shady trees, to set up our chairs and relax. We were pretty close to the road, but there wasn’t much traffic. It was a nice, fairly quiet place to spend the night. Keith and his family made us feel very welcome. Side note: don’t miss LuLu’s Twistee Treat in town for ice cream.

The owner is very nice, but this location is not for tent camping as currently laid out, because there is not a latrine facility on-site.
