While being on vacation in the northwoods I spent a few days there when the season 2023 was ending. The campground provides sites close to the lake or embedded in the woods, whatever you prefer. Best decision I could make: Carmen + Jesse with family are putting their heart and soul into this place which combines the bar + the campground, the hospitality is outstanding! Season ended with the famous "drink the bar dry"-event which allowed me to spent an amazing evening with great people, nice conversations, tons of fun, delicious drinks + food and a massive campfire... anything the heart desires! Can't thank you guys enough for the wonderful time, see you soon!
Oct 12, 2023 · Alex SchmitzCame into town to visit family, and instead of staying at a hotel we decided to pull our camper and stay here. What a great decision that was! The campground is clean, quiet and the roads are in great shape. The owners are awesome. Very nice and very accommodating. We will definitely come back to stay here again next time we are visiting family!
Jun 30, 2023 · Dan ItaliaWe were in a great spot lake front. There's a pathway up to the bar, but it's a Dooley at night in the dark AFTER the bar! A string or 2 of lights in the trees would be fun! The owners? we great, they had a lightning strike they were recuperating from. Our camper had no ground and he came right away to fix it. The bar was full and fun. The fishing pier was great. We would return!
May 31, 2022 · Kari BThis is a smaller campsite place with more RV camping then tent camping it seemed at the time but its nearby the lakes and has access to a nearby swimming beach and fishing areas. All sites I believe have water and electric so that was a nice added feature. The camp sites are kinda close but there is cool rock features all around and trees to give you shade from the sun. I liked the proximity to everything nearby aka the office-bathrooms etc so you don’t have to walk to far to use them if tent camping.
Jul 25, 2023 · Ari RathLove going here. Nice and clean. Quite and relaxing. Great place on the lake if you do water sports. Owners are vary nice couple and vary helpful on what’s going on nearby. Will keep going there fore sure. 👍🏻
