Customer Reviews
Awesome campground. Not too big not too small...about 75 sites but nestled in the northwoods. Bears, lakes, and smores...what more could a man want?
Moen lake campground is an awesome place to stay. The owner Kathy and her son Cody are really nice people and go out of there way to make your stay a memorable one. We have camped here now going on our 2nd year and absolutely love it here. The campground is nice and clean. The bathrooms are extremely clean for a campground. There's a nice beach for the family across the road from the campground. The campers here are so friendly. It feels like one big family here. Here everyone helps each other. We would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a seasonal site or just a weekend away. Come join us we're always looking for more campers to join our family and sit around the fire.
Kathy is a very pleasant lady...very welcoming to wayward traveller's. Had no problem getting a campsite in mid October when our truck broke down and we were stranded for 4 days waiting for repairs. Very nice campground overlooking Moen Lake..spacious lots and very welcoming campers.
Kathy & Cody do a great job managing this campground! If you are looking for a great place to relax and enjoy the north woods, look no further. I saw a negative review from an overnight camper complaining about the "Wisconsin State Bird" the mosquito. Imagine the shock it must have been to find out there are mosquitos in northern Wisconsin! We have a seasonal site in this awesome campground. The people are very friendly here and the place is always clean and tidy. Nice bathrooms & FREE showers available! Keep up the good work Kathy & Cody!
We stayed at this Campground for 2 days. As soon as we started setting up our tent we were swarmed with mosquitoes. It was horrible. We spent very little time outside our tent to keep from getting eat up. The bathrooms were not cleaned the entire time we were there. The trash can in the bathroom stayed full the entire time. On a positive side the showers were separate from the toilet area and the water was hot even if we did have to share it with some bugs. It was quiet and peaceful and if you have plenty of bug spray you might survive.
