Lake Linden Campground, as a municipal park, offers extremely reasonable rates, which can be considered a form of ongoing value for its visitors. Currently, regular sites (with water and electric) are priced at $32 per night, and rustic sites (for tenting) are $20 per night.
A notable ongoing special offer is that the 7th night is free for both regular and rustic sites when staying for a week (totaling $196 weekly for regular sites and $120 for rustic sites). This weekly discount is a significant benefit for Michiganders planning extended stays to thoroughly explore the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's important to note that this 7th-night-free promotion may not apply during the 4th of July week, so it's always best to confirm directly with the campground when booking.
For reservations, campers can typically call the campground directly. Given its popularity and reasonable rates, especially during peak season, making reservations in advance is highly recommended to secure your preferred dates and site.

Overall a great little park. Our site (#12) was level but all sites seem pretty narrow. Beach and lake were nice. Bathrooms were always clean. Lots of playground equipment for kids. It connects to the city park which had basketball and tennis courts. Our kids played the disc golf course. We used this park as a base and visited a lot of areas in the keweenaw. Copper harbor is about an hours drive. Calumet was about 15 minutes. Douglass houghton falls about 10 minutes. 20 minutes to Houghton. A couple of cons: 1. There seemed to be a lot of people with dogs off leash in this park and there is no park ranger (like state parks) to complain to. We had one dog try to get on to our picnic table while we were making dinner. 2. There is a code for the bathroom which I recommend asking for before you arrive. 3. As mentioned, the sites are pretty narrow and you feel like you are sitting right next to your neighbors when you are at the campground. This would be great for a group.
