Lakeview RV Resort About

For RV enthusiasts across Tennessee looking for a functional and conveniently located place to park their rig, Lakeview RV Resort in Bluff City offers a practical solution. While it might be described more accurately as an RV park than a full-fledged "resort" in the traditional sense, it provides essential amenities and a strategic location on the beautiful Boone Lake that makes it a viable option for a few nights' stay or as a base for exploring the surrounding East Tennessee region. This park caters to those who prioritize necessary hookups and a relatively quiet place to rest their heads after a day of travel or local exploration. Its ease of access and functional facilities make it a consideration for locals needing a straightforward camping experience without the expectation of extensive recreational amenities.

Lakeview RV Resort is situated at 4550 Hwy 11 E, Bluff City, TN 37618, USA. This location offers significant advantages for Tennesseans due to its direct placement on Highway 11E, a major thoroughfare. This ensures excellent accessibility, making it easy for RVers to navigate directly to and from the park without complex turns or lengthy detours. Its position in Bluff City places it on the shores of Boone Lake, providing a scenic backdrop and potential for water-based activities, though direct access to lake activities may vary. Furthermore, its proximity to larger towns like Bristol means that essential services, groceries, and a wider range of dining and entertainment options are within a reasonable driving distance. Whether you're heading towards the tri-cities area, exploring the natural beauty of Northeast Tennessee, or simply need a convenient stop along a longer journey, Lakeview RV Resort's location provides a practical and accessible base for your RV adventures in the Volunteer State.

Lakeview RV Resort provides a selection of fundamental services geared towards ensuring a comfortable and functional stay for RVers.

  • Full Hookup RV Sites: The park primarily offers RV sites with full hookups, which typically include water, sewer, and electric connections, providing essential utilities directly at your campsite.
  • Bathhouses with Showers: There are multiple bathhouses available within the park, equipped with showers. While the exact number of showers may vary, reviews indicate several are present to accommodate guests.
  • Laundry Facilities: For guests requiring laundry services, the park provides on-site facilities, allowing for convenience during longer stays.
  • On-site Store/Gift Shop: A store or gift shop is located on the premises, offering a limited selection of items that might be useful for campers.
  • Staff Assistance: Reviews suggest that staff members are generally friendly and helpful, aiming to address camper concerns and provide assistance when needed.
  • Grounds Maintenance: The park management appears to conduct regular grounds maintenance, including mowing, to keep the area tidy.

Lakeview RV Resort offers several features and highlights that, while perhaps not extensive, cater to the needs of its guests, particularly those seeking a straightforward RV experience.

  • Boone Lake Access: The park's location on Boone Lake offers a scenic environment. There is a dock available, providing some access to the lake, though slips are often rented long-term to locals.
  • Fishing Access: While specific details may vary, there is observed fishing access from the dock or potentially under a bridge, offering an opportunity for anglers.
  • Proximity to Major Roadways: Its direct location on Highway 11E provides very easy and convenient access for RVs, minimizing travel time and making it a practical overnight stop.
  • Long-Term Stay Options: The presence of "permanent residents" suggests that the park accommodates longer-term stays, which can be a valuable feature for those needing extended lodging in the area.
  • Pet-Friendly Environment: While not explicitly stated in the provided reviews, most RV parks are pet-friendly, and a general expectation would be that pets are allowed, with owners responsible for their cleanup.
  • Quiet Atmosphere (implied): While not directly mentioned as a highlight, the park seems to offer a relatively quiet environment for rest, suitable for short-term stays.

Lakeview RV Resort, like many practical RV parks, may not always publicize complex promotional offers. However, potential visitors should always inquire directly with the park about current rates and any potential discounts. It is common for RV parks to offer reduced rates for extended stays, such as weekly or monthly options, which could be beneficial for those looking for a longer-term base in the Bluff City area. Additionally, inquire if they participate in any RV membership discount programs, such as Good Sam Club or Passport America, as these can often provide significant savings. Seasonal rates might also apply, with potential lower prices during off-peak times. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on pricing and any available promotions, a direct phone call to Lakeview RV Resort is the best approach.

This is not an RV Resort, it is an RV Park. The amenities are extremely over exaggerated. There is a dock, it is rented out mostly to locals so getting a slip is a crap shoot. There appears to be a lot of permanent residents and they were being made to move while we were there. I found 6 showers, 1 cabin (another in an overflow lot not accessible), the store is a sparsely stocked gift shop, the only fishing access I saw was from the dock or under a bridge, the playground has been removed due to needing to relocate the well, etc. I stopped looking for discrepancies by day 2. This is not a campground for a vacation. It's worth a night or 2 and then move on.

I camped for about a week in the spring of 2023, During my stay everyone at the campground including the staff were friendly and helpful. One day I left the campground to do some exploring in the area and when I came back I noticed that they had mowed the grass around the campground. Unfortunately my water supply hose got mowed and was losing water. I went to the office and was told by the manager to go and replace it and they would have the company that does the mowing pay for it. As of this time 12-17-24 and with several phone calls I have not received any compensation for the damage water hose.

Me and my family moved here around four months ago and this place has been nothing short of perfect! the prices are reasonable for the location and what is offered, there are snacks and little toys kids can buy in the office and in the warmer months the doc is a great place for kids to mess around with the bluegill. The staff is AMAZING and quite frankly the nicest i've seen in this area, the bathrooms are spacious and have nice water pressure, the neighbors are SUPER FRIENDLY!! and the local kids are super nice! my dad dropped his ID and these two nice boys returned it! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars

Four nite stay, level & big back-in site, great water pressure, staff were present doing maintenance on grounds. Kind of noisy from gravel roads but we'll be back.

The staff is very friendly. They will go out of their way to ensure your stay is a good one. We were here over Labor Day weekend and they had several activities for the guests. If you have a large rig, there is plenty of room to get it backed in your spot. The facilities are very clean and well kept. We will come back.
