  • Seasonal Rates: Inquire about potential discounted rates for longer stays, such as weekly or monthly bookings, which can be attractive for those planning extended vacations.
  • Off-Peak Discounts: Sometimes, campgrounds offer lower rates during the shoulder seasons (spring or fall) when demand is slightly lower, providing a great opportunity for a quieter and more affordable getaway.
  • Return Guest Incentives: While not confirmed, it's common for smaller resorts to offer loyalty perks or priority booking for returning customers, especially given the positive sentiment from guests who "will come back and stay!"

It is always recommended to contact Larson's Resort directly to inquire about any current deals, seasonal rates, or special packages they might be offering. Given the personalized service often associated with "mom and pop" places, a direct conversation might reveal options tailored to your needs.

We enjoyed our stay at Larson's Resort and Campground. Everyone, including Laurie the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The site we stayed at was very shady and nice, and the facilities were very clean. There was a lending area for books, games and videos, which was super nice. A very enjoyable weekend! We will come back and stay!

I received very poor customer service. I called Larsons resort and asked if they had anything available for this coming Friday Saturday departing on Sunday. The lady was kind enough to go measure to make sure I could fit and she called me back and said that yes it’s available will fit. I told her I needed to discuss it with my wife and I will call her back. This was rather late in the evening. By the time my wife and I could discuss it it was too late to call so I called the next morning. I made a total of four calls that day, nobody got back to me. I called again the next morning and nobody got back to me. I was trying to confirm the booking and pay my deposit because the weekend was coming up quickly and I wanted to settle it and get it off my back. They did not have the courtesy to call me so I had to find another campground, which was an hour away from where we wanted to be. this seems like a real hokey mom pop place. I will never ever try to go there again because if this is how little they care about customers that they can’t make a five minute phone call, then I’d hate to see what happens if something happens at the campground and you need their assistance. You could never reach them to tell them if you had a problem because they won’t return phone calls.

The wife and I had the opportunity to stay here last summer and are looking forward to returning again this summer! The camp sites are large with plenty of room for our 38ft fifth wheel and the drinks & food at the bar were wonderful. Laurie went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable!

Super quiet here. Relaxing and great access to the lake Ellen. Has clean bathrooms and showers. Power hook ups and allows pop up campers. The bar is ran by the owner. Simple and beautiful place.
