Cute and helpful couple and a large well kept campground. They were so welcoming and kind to us giving many recommendations for our trip. They showed elk sheds and their pond and fed the fish so that we could see them! Was 30 minutes from and an easy drive to the Red Moshannon race.

Beautiful campground and great hospitality and service from the owners! It was very nice to be in a rustic, quiet environment similar to some of the state parks and rustic sites we often stay at, but have the convenience of electric hookups and a nice bathhouse. There are multiple great spots to view elk nearby, and you may even see elk and other wildlife on your drive in and out of the campground! We will be back and highly recommend this as a quiet campground with some amenities yet still maintaining a rustic feel.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds ever! It's family owned and run and you can tell this is their joy. The facilities are brand new, it's clean, tidy and beautiful facilities and grounds. The roads are rock so there's not dirt being tracked in as much. There is a hose for water and a dumping station next to the bathrooms and the sites are all just power. The bathrooms are the biggest and cleanest I've ever seen. There are two full size bathrooms with showers and a port o potty. There are two catch and release ponds. We used the small one the whole time and caught stuff the whole time we were there. On the way in, there is a cabin and a valley with a corn field where the elk graze and dawn and dusk. We are hoping to go back in the winter time to stay in the heated cabin. There were many other animals on the road that leads to the campground like sooo many deer, bunnies, groundhogs. We didn't see anything at the actual campground but we were out during the day most of the time visiting family. The owner. Denny, also takes people out in the big pond to go noodling during the spawning season in June and early July. (That's catching catfish with your hands out of holes). We can't wait to go back!
