We had such a great stay at this campground! The staff were absolutely fantastic—kind, helpful, hardworking, pleasant, and truly conscientious. It was clear they cared about keeping the place running smoothly and making guests feel welcome. The campground itself was very well maintained and affordable, which made the experience even better. We especially appreciated the convenient delivery of ice and firewood right to our site, as well as the frequent garbage pickup throughout the day—a small detail that made a big difference. The showers and restrooms were clean, well-stocked, and clearly cared for regularly. It was refreshing to see that attention to detail. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful river that runs beside the campsites—a perfect backdrop for relaxing. There were plenty of activities for kids, and it was great to see so many families enjoying the outdoors together. Overall, a top-notch camping experience.
Jun 24, 2025 · Susie GoldenLovely little campground. Will definitely stay here again. Sites are a bit close together but everything is quiet and relaxing. This was a quick 2 night trip for us, just to relax and get away from the daily grind. Perfect for that. Also close to so many things to do. Friendly staff, clean and quiet.
Aug 12, 2025 · Jane TLocal to New Hampshire, about two hours away from here This is my second time visiting here both times we have stayed two nights Not sure if I would recommend or would not recommend The reasons I say that for non-recommendation are due to the campsite being on a main road, so yes, there is traffic noise the whole time you’re here Campsites are directly on top of one another. There are not many trees covering the campsites for shade and putting up your tarps. The pool is very small if you intend on using it on hot days. I would recommend for cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, nice river view, and central location to town and two other areas of things you would like to do. For two week nights, we spent $98 for a tent site for two adults, which I didn’t think was bad at all There are rustic cabins and luxury cabins here for rent. I don’t know anything about them though. Maybe next time I will try another KOA
Aug 12, 2025 · Lady CahillOf all the stops on our travels, this KOA site is our all time favorite!!! We stayed at site #22 which is on the river. The trees were changing and the river was flowing. We had a fantastic time. A huge thank you to Sue, the Office Manager for being so kind and making our stay extra special.
Sep 19, 2025 · Darlene ForetOur hosts went the extra mile for us when we broke down and needed a place to stay. They were very supportive and understanding: the definition of hospitality. The campground was clean and well maintained. Beautiful location on the river. I highly recommend!
