Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia is conveniently located at 2048 AL-20, Tuscumbia, AL 35674, USA. This address places it directly off a major highway, Alabama State Route 20 (AL-20), which is also U.S. Route 72 Alt (US 72 Alt). This makes it exceptionally easy to access for RVers traveling through the region, minimizing detours and maximizing convenience. Its strategic position is a significant advantage for those looking for a quick and uncomplicated pull-off point for the night or for a short stay.

Being part of the larger Love's Travel Stop network, this RV park benefits from the established infrastructure of the truck stop, which typically includes fuel, food options, and other travel essentials readily available. This integrated approach ensures that most immediate needs of an RVer can be met without having to leave the premises. The location also offers a decent view, adding a touch of pleasantness to your overnight stay. While the primary purpose of these stops is often convenience for those on the move, the ease of access to the main road is a standout feature for any traveler.

Services Offered

Love's RV Stop focuses on providing the core services essential for an comfortable and practical overnight or short-term RV stay. While it emphasizes efficiency, the Tuscumbia location offers key amenities that contribute to a decent experience:

  • Full Hookups: Most, if not all, sites are designed to offer full hookups, which typically include 30/50 amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. This is crucial for RVers to have a self-contained and comfortable stay.
  • Clean Showers: A significant highlight mentioned by guests is the cleanliness and quality of the shower facilities. Modern and well-maintained showers are a major plus for travelers needing to refresh during their journey.
  • Restrooms: Alongside the showers, clean and accessible restrooms are generally available for guest use.
  • Pet-Friendly Environment: Love's RV Stop is considered pet-friendly, providing a "tiny walking trail around the camping loop" for pet owners. This allows for quick and convenient walks for furry companions.
  • Adjacent Travel Stop Amenities: Being co-located with a Love's Travel Stop means guests have easy access to fuel, a convenience store, often fast-food options, and sometimes even truck services, making it a truly one-stop solution for travelers.
Features / Highlights

Love's RV Stop in Tuscumbia, while primarily geared towards convenience, offers several features that enhance the guest experience for those passing through Alabama:

  • Neatly Kept Grounds: Guests often praise the park for being "very neatly kept," indicating a commitment to cleanliness and organization. This contributes to a pleasant environment for RVers.
  • Modern Facilities: The bathrooms and showers are highlighted as being "nice" and clean, which is a crucial feature for any RV park, especially for those looking for a comfortable stop after a day of driving.
  • Super Friendly Attendant: A "super friendly attendant" can make a significant difference in a guest's experience, providing a welcoming and helpful first impression and assistance during their stay.
  • Convenient Walking Trail: The "tiny walking trail around the camping loop" is a thoughtful addition, allowing guests, and their pets, a small area to stretch their legs and get some fresh air without leaving the immediate vicinity of their RV.
  • Decent View: Some sites offer a "decent view," adding a touch of pleasantness to the setting, which is a nice bonus for an overnight stop.
  • Concrete Pads (Newly Poured): The presence of concrete pads for the RV sites is a positive feature, as it provides a stable and clean surface for parking your RV. This is especially good for preventing "tracking that southern sand all over the van," as one reviewer pointed out.

However, it is important to note some areas of feedback from past visitors:

  • Site Leveling: A common concern is that many sites are "not level," requiring RVers to use leveling blocks even on the new concrete pads. This "sad oversight" can be an annoyance for campers who expect truly level surfaces, especially with auto-leveling systems.
  • Customer Service for Issues: One review highlighted a negative experience with customer service regarding an electrical issue. While the primary phone number goes to voicemail, and a callback was not received for a shore power problem, this indicates a potential area for improvement in responsiveness for on-site issues.
Promotions or Special Offers

As a chain operation like Love's, specific promotions or special offers for their RV Stops are typically managed at a corporate level or might be seasonal. While direct public information on ongoing promotions for the Tuscumbia location isn't readily available, it is always a good idea to:

  • Check the Love's website: Their main corporate website for Love's Travel Stops and RV Stops often lists any system-wide promotions or discounts.
  • Inquire Upon Arrival or Call Ahead: Sometimes, specific locations might have local promotions or discounts for longer stays that are not widely advertised. Calling the park directly at the provided number is the best way to ask about any current rates or deals.
  • Loyalty Programs: If Love's has a general loyalty program for its travel stops, there might be benefits that extend to their RV parks.

Given its nature as primarily an overnight or short-term stop, recurring promotional offers might be less frequent than at full-service destination RV resorts. However, it never hurts to ask when making a reservation or checking in.

Great place to camp for the night. However customer service would rate zero stars if I could give it. My site shore power kept turning off after 5 minutes, no matter how many times I reset the breaker. Call service on the number listed and it went to voicemail, left message and they never called back, spent night in 90 degrees heat.

This is only the second Love's RV place we've stayed at (the one in Choctaw, OK was great) and I wanted to love it. I kinda did - very neatly kept, nice showers. It even had a super friendly attendant, a decent view, and a tiny walking trail around the camping loop. But... The sites are not level (maybe some are, but 29 definitely isn't and it doesn't look to me like most are). We had to use leveling blocks because our auto leveler couldn't handle the incline no matter where we positioned the camper. Now, that's not unheard of - we have to use the blocks maybe 5% of the time over the years - but I can't remember ever having to use the blocks on a concrete pad (and these pads are brand new, so no erosion or settling). Basically, they poured the pads to be "eyeball level" rather than actually level, which means every camper is going to be annoyed. Such a sad oversight - wouldn't have cost anything to do it right, but it will cost a bunch to fix. Love's corporate: make a better checklist of HOW to build these things so campers' expectations are met - I am behind you on the project and want it to succeed!

This was our first stop at a Loves RV park. We picked a very nice one for our first visit. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly park attendant who guided us to our spot. Park layout and spacing was good and the spots were nice, level, and easy to access. I would suggest picking a spot on the opposite side from the truck stop. We chose the row next to the truck stop ... Though the pine trees blocked all that nicely, the noise of the trucks running, etc took a bit to get used to. Also, the WiFi wasn't really fast enough to stream the Tennessee win over Alabama...we switched to my 5G hotspot and cheered on the Vols with no buffering. We would definitely stay here again ... Was secure, very well maintained, and super nice.

Stayed here after a snafu at the place originally reserved further down the road. This was our first time at a Loves RV Stop. Absolutely will do again. Muscle Shoals was great! We were in #9 & #10. Looked out over a field. Was surprisingly quiet! There was a basketball at the court. Great playground. Bathrooms were very clean! Only a 5 minute walk to the Loves station to get food/snacks. Check in process was very easy and customer service was fantastic! Only thing to watch, the grass area is uneven. Easy to roll an ankle if you're not careful in some areas. The sprinklers came on overnight, which there was signage warning between 12am-6am. But it hits the camper as it comes around, which was loud at 3am. Haha Overall, fantastic option to stay!

We stayed here July 2023 while moving. Great little spot to stop with a camper. Tucked behind the truck stop with only minor truck noise and you do not feel like your camping in the truck stop. Sites were very level and stayed hooked to truck overnight. Just booked another night for this summer as it is a little less than halfway point. If already planning back highways it is great, if you want to stick to interstate it is out of the way, but if you are taking US43 it is a great spot. Bathrooms were individual and very clean with private shower area inside. Our stay was very short so never saw a person but check in kiosk worked fine and no issues with power. While we were here that gate wasn’t functioning and was wide open but we stayed shortly after it opened, it hopefully is operational now.
