Promotions or Special Offers: Planning Your Visit

Quiet state forest campground. Sites were clean and well spaced. Definitely recommend bug repellent as it is quite a swampy area. But sunset and sunrise were absolutely breathtaking over the lake.

Nice little state forest campground. The front sites closer to the lake fill up fast and it is first come first serve. The back sites are kind of in a swampy area so the mosquitoes can be fairly bad depending on time of year. There is a boat launch right at the campground with good lake access. All in all its a pretty cool little S.F.C and we liked it a lot and will definitely be back.

Relaxing and peaceful, you don't have tobwalk a million miles to get to the beach and the water is calm and warm. Also they take very good care of the mosquito population! Will definitely be back quite often!

If you’re looking for a rustic campground this is the place. There is no electricity, although some people run generators, and the only water is from a hand pump. There are also bathrooms that are just “hole-in-the-ground” toilets. Watch out for your food though, raccoons are rampant, my friend and I heard about 3 or 4 around our tent, and they can also get into coolers.

What a beautiful view of Burt Lake from our campsite. Nice sandy beach. Limited sites, they vary in size and closeness. Rustic.
