As one long-term resident aptly put it, "I've been living here for almost 5 years and it's nice and quiet... the landlords are very responsive to any issues and go above and beyond to maintain the park. Overall it's a great long term park and I feel safe living here." This kind of direct feedback underscores the park's commitment to its community.

For Texans navigating the vast opportunities and vibrant energy of Houston, having a stable and pleasant home base is invaluable. McCullar Parkway RV Park offers just that – a serene retreat within easy reach of everything Houston has to offer. Location and Accessibility

McCullar Parkway RV Park is conveniently situated at 6127 Stuebner Airline Rd, Houston, TX 77091, USA. This address places it in a prime location within North Houston, offering residents the best of both worlds: a quiet living environment and exceptional access to the vast amenities of the city.

The park's strategic location is just one block west of I-45 North, a major interstate highway that provides direct and easy access to downtown Houston and various key city destinations. This central "near north" location translates to a convenient 10-15 minute drive to most major centers in Houston, including:

  • Downtown Houston: Quick access to the city's business district, entertainment venues, and cultural attractions.
  • The Woodlands: A premier master-planned community known for its corporate campuses, shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation.
  • Texas Medical Center: The world's largest medical complex, crucial for those working in or seeking specialized healthcare.
  • Galleria Area: Houston's upscale shopping and entertainment district.

Beyond its proximity to major highways, the park is located on Stuebner Airline Road, which is a well-traveled thoroughfare connecting residents to local shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and other essential services within the immediate neighborhood. Despite being in a "highly populated area," as noted by a reviewer, the park maintains a quiet atmosphere, suggesting thoughtful planning in its layout and management. This blend of urban accessibility and a peaceful living environment makes McCullar Parkway RV Park an ideal base for exploring Houston or for those who commute within the city.

  • Paved Roads and Concrete Pads: The park features paved roads for easy navigation and full concrete pads at each site, providing a stable and clean surface for RVs.

Features / Highlights

McCullar Parkway RV Park stands out with several key features that contribute to its appeal as a long-term RV living destination in Houston.

  • Abundant Natural Shade: A paramount feature in the Texas climate is the extensive shade provided by "100-year-old Oak & Pecan trees." "Almost all the spots have shade coverage," offering significant relief from the summer heat and reducing energy costs for RVers. This natural landscaping contributes to a more pleasant and comfortable living experience.
  • Quiet and Peaceful Environment: Despite its urban location, residents consistently describe the park as "nice and quiet." This tranquility fosters a relaxing atmosphere, ideal for long-term living where peace is highly valued.
  • Highly Responsive and Attentive Management: A significant highlight is the "very responsive" and proactive landlords who "go above and beyond to maintain the park." Promotions or Special Offers

While McCullar Parkway RV Park's official website primarily focuses on its long-term rates rather than short-term promotional discounts, their pricing structure for extended stays inherently offers significant value. Their primary "special offer" is the highly competitive monthly rate designed to accommodate long-term residents.

  • Monthly RV Space Rent: The established rate for RV space rent is $475.00 per month. This rate is quite competitive for an RV park located in a major metropolitan area like Houston, especially one that emphasizes long-term residency.
  • Included Utilities (Partial): The monthly rent "furnishes a dumpster & lawn upkeep," which means trash services and common area maintenance are included.
  • Separately Billed Utilities: Residents are responsible for electricity and water, which are based on submeter usage. This allows for fair billing based on individual consumption.
  • Security Deposit: A $250.00 deposit is required for monthly stays.

Compared to daily or weekly rates commonly found at transient RV parks, McCullar Parkway RV Park's monthly rate is a built-in promotion for those seeking an extended stay. For instance, many Houston-area RV parks might charge $45-$65 per night, making a monthly stay at those parks well over $1300-$1900, plus utilities. McCullar Parkway's $475/month base rate offers substantial savings for long-term residents.

Prospective residents are always encouraged to contact McCullar Parkway RV Park directly to confirm current rates, inquire about availability, and discuss any specific terms or potential unadvertised specials. Their responsive management team (as noted in reviews) will be best equipped to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information.

John G, the guy posting a negative review, why is it your history for reviews are all 1 star? Illegitimate reviews such as yours makes it difficult for people such as myself to get an accurate idea about what it is I'm looking for. This place is in a highly populated area, so the whole crime rate thing... welcome to Houston. Good luck finding absolutely no crime anywhere. Perhaps Google should start recognizing trends in posts like yours and make it a "crime" in the posting world and put it to a stop. Read this comment Google, if I can recognize it, so should you.

I visited this park, spoke to a few residents (Note: no residents of color were observed during my visit) and certainly saw vacancy. As many others have done, I called, but to no avail, no one ever answers or returns messages. To confirm the oddities I decided to have others like me call and we all got the same result, all our caller ID names are of Hispanic origin. No worries though... We know how that goes. Don't worry Mr. Mrs RV Park owner Google won't take this down because it is not SPAM, after all, this is a public forum. The only way to get positive reviews is to be a good person! The park is half in the floodway and half in the floodzone, so you do the math. This is a long term park so the chances of losing you car and possibly your RV are high (especially on Houston .. y'all know how it floods here). Ultimately, here is the kicker, look at the crime stats just for the last 6 months. All the blue marks are burglary of a habitat or of a vehicle.

This is a Hidden Oasis. Close to town, close to city life, but our quiet alcove feels a little country . We enjoy sitting on the bayou at the end of the day. Great owners. We love living here!
