Funny this came up for me to review, as I live here and am proud that I do. It's a lovely community and well kept. Within the last 2 years many new homes have gone up; replacing those that have seen their better days. Of course they're keeping up with the industry and the prices reflect that as well. Melody Lakes is a finely oiled machine well prepared to keep it's residents, as well as attracting newcomers. It's easy to get in touch with management and they're easy to work with when you need any professional advice or help with your situation at hand. I do my very best to keep my home free of clutter and appealing for all eyes that may venture past, as do most.
Apr 29, 2024 · Leslie AlexanderPeople don't follow the rules in the pool. They bring food inside and it's not allowed. It also looks like a public pool. People bring people from outside. They don't follow the rules. Apparently they make their own rules, this is every weekend they bring people who don't pay to be here in the pool, they also have 8 cars parked in front of their house, only 2 are allowed, there are 12 people living in a two-bedroom mobile home where are the rules for everyone, we want answers, we all pay and those people don't.The owners and managers don't care, they just want to collect the rent, we don't know who lives in that house of 12 people, they check our records and they don't. We don't know if they are criminals, here the rules are the same for everyone, 12 people including babies live in a two-bedroom trailer, we need answers from the owner or managers about this situation.
Aug 10, 2025 · carla LunaDo not do not rent from here i feel like these people are scammers. They will take you to court as soon as you miss a payment. They will not work with you and when you leave they will try and take everything they can from you. That's my experience at least im warning any potential buyers be careful. They raise the lot rent every year just drive around and see for yourself how many homes are for sale. Again becareful because they dont care about you just that dollar again my experience
Aug 11, 2025 · Chuccy DiazNice place to live. To high for lot rent for land you will never own. And every year they make sure to raise that rent but offer nothing extra or improvements with that extra cost. Good neighbors and lots of nicer new homes being brought in. It's definitely not your adverage dumpy trailer park. They do make an effort to keep it nice.
Jan 09, 2019 · Jamie AndersonUpdate: Don't move here. Lot rent is $941 a month and increases more each year. They installed water meters but claim it is a sewer bill so they can charge an extra $75 for every person over 18 in your home for water usage. The heated pool is never heated or open half the time. They took away the bathroom for the pool so I wouldn't swim in it anyway. This place is owned by a corporation ABC that owns multiple parks all around the area and they are pricing people out of the park. They are only in it for the money. They've taken most amenities away and keep raising costs. Don't make the mistake of moving here. Water is constantly shut off without warning due to constant leaks. The water smells like bleach. You can't drink the water. It's a shame because it is was a nice park with nice people struggling to live here and keep up with the ever increasing lot rent. They are making our homes worthless because they are pricing everyone out.
