Mountaineer Mobile Home Park About

Hello, West Virginia residents! If you're exploring housing options that offer affordability, a sense of community, and a peaceful environment, consider what a mobile home park can provide. Mountaineer Mobile Home Park in Williamstown, West Virginia, aims to offer just that—a family-owned and operated community designed for comfortable living in a convenient location.

Mobile home parks, often referred to as manufactured home communities, present a unique and accessible pathway to homeownership for many. Unlike traditional stick-built homes, residents typically own their manufactured home but lease the land it sits on. This model can significantly reduce the upfront financial burden and ongoing property tax expenses, making homeownership a reality for a wider range of individuals and families in our state. The affordability often extends to utility costs, as modern manufactured homes are frequently designed with energy efficiency in mind.

Beyond the financial benefits, manufactured home communities are often characterized by a strong sense of neighborhood. They are typically laid out to encourage interaction among residents, fostering a close-knit atmosphere where neighbors can get to know each other. This community focus can provide a supportive and friendly environment, appealing to those who value a more connected living experience than isolated housing developments might offer. For West Virginians who appreciate both practical living and a friendly local feel, a mobile home park can be an excellent choice.

Mountaineer Mobile Home Park is specifically described as a "Quiet, Friendly, Family Oriented Community," making it suitable for individuals and families of all sizes. It positions itself as a place where owners are willing to "work with you on things like lot rent and warnings," which suggests a flexible and understanding approach to management. This commitment to resident support is a significant aspect of what makes a mobile home park a viable and attractive long-term housing solution.

Location and Accessibility

Mountaineer Mobile Home Park is conveniently located on Mountaineer Dr, Williamstown, WV 26187, USA. Williamstown is a charming small town nestled along the Ohio River, offering a blend of serene, country living with easy access to larger urban centers. The park's location is a significant highlight. It's just across the river from beautiful Marietta, Ohio, expanding the range of shopping, dining, and cultural attractions available to residents. DO NOT RENT HERE! The park owners are the rudest people we have ever dealt with! We recently purchased a trailer from this park and the park owners wanted it moved and were VERY rude to us about it when we notified them of the owner transfer despite the fact that we intended to move it anyways. They made moving our trailer a complete nightmare. The police were involved twice. I also happened to have lived just up the road from this park as a child and can tell you that it's not a good place to live based on how much unsavory activity has happened there over the years. I suggest you steer clear and find somewhere better.

This is a nice older trailer park. I lived here a short time when I was in high school. Now my uncle and his wife live there and everybody seems just as friendly today as they were 20 years ago. Some of the trailers are a little bit older but everything is kept pretty clean.

No matter what condition your in-door living area is in, the out-door scenery makes every home improvement job worth while. So dont complain about broken air conditioning or a leaky roof. Just remove the wall, use that material for more roof, that way you'll be paying half of the home's total cost.
