Natchitoches Pecan Orchard RV Park is ideally situated at 140 LA-120, Natchitoches, LA 71457, USA. This prime location offers an excellent balance of accessibility and peaceful seclusion. It's close enough to the interstate (I-49) for easy on-and-off access, making it a convenient stop for travelers passing through Louisiana. Yet, it's set back just enough so that you "don’t hear the noise" of the highway, ensuring a restful and quiet stay.

The park's location in Natchitoches, Louisiana's oldest permanent settlement, means guests have direct access to a wealth of historical and cultural attractions. The park is located along the famous Cane River Heritage Trail and is approximately 15 miles south of Historic Downtown Natchitoches. This historic district, a National Landmark, boasts charming boutiques, diverse restaurants serving authentic Creole and Cajun cuisine, and the picturesque Cane River Lake. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls along the river walk, explore historic homes, or visit numerous plantations in the area.

Furthermore, the region hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the world-famous Natchitoches Christmas Festival, turning the city into a dazzling wonderland. The park's proximity to these events, combined with its easy access from major roads, makes it an ideal base for exploring everything Natchitoches and the surrounding central Louisiana area have to offer, from cultural excursions to outdoor activities like fishing on Cane River Lake or visiting the nearby Kisatchie National Forest.

Great RV park. Spacious shaded spots. Close to the interstate, but far enough away so you don’t hear the noise. Pool, laundry, restrooms, small mini golf course, and a meeting room with kitchen and shower. Surrounded by a farm with cows and Shetland ponies. I’d definitely stay here again. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it is hard to book a site months in advance due to no one answering the phone, returning calls, or replying to emails during the off season.

Lovely, clean, reasonably priced park not far from the hwy. Super shower rooms, laundry, pool in season, recreation room, full hook ups, level pull through sites, great place to overnight on our way south!

RV park. Just added a pond and walking trail. They have a swimming pool. Looks like a few long-term campers here. Small outdoor put put golf course. Nothing fancy. Nice cement patio area with a picnic table at each site. A bunch of Pecan trees in the campground. There are no leaves on the trees at this time, but I'm sure there is a lot of shade in the summer months.

This is a great getaway-from-it-all RV park. Let’s do a Pro/Con review. PROS: Very spacious between sites and they’re angled so you are not looking at a 90degree view right into the RV next door. Very long sites as well, at least 80’. The pecan trees are old and tall, so shade is dappled but it’s really nice. Mornings are wonderful when the temperatures are in the low 60s. Nice pond next door where the miniature horses, longhorn steers and cattle egrets come to visit. Bull frogs at night take some getting used to. Square, large concrete pads. Sites are level. Easy in and out…except for the large hole as you first enter…beware. We got to pick our own site. CONS: no WiFi, only one bathroom, I never saw the manager or owner. Everything was done via text. Swimming pool was murky with green slime on the edge stairs. The one ladder entering the pool was completely destroyed with pieces of the ladder laying around. Kinda dangerous. I told the “manager” via text but we never saw it fixed. We asked to have our site light fixed when we got there but, four days later, nothing had been done. Trash was a big trailer that you just threw your bags in (that they probably haul to the local dump when it’s full) but a bit unsightly. BOTTOM LINE: We really liked the park because it was so relaxing and quiet. We recommend it.

Easy on and off I49. Sites are mostly pull thru and FHU. Has a concrete patio. Pick you own site, never met host. Some long term people here. We had fire ants in our power box. Just sprinkled ant bait around bottom of post. Nice clean pool, no pool chairs or tables. Bathhouse wa a clean to. There is a lake on-site. People were fishing. Overall this is a good stopover. It was our most expensive site on trip at $58.
