This address places it squarely within the city limits of Evarts, a vibrant community in Harlan County, Southeastern Kentucky. Evarts is particularly noted as a gateway to the spectacular Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area, making the RV park's location highly desirable for off-road enthusiasts.
For Kentuckians, accessing North Evarts RV Park is generally straightforward. Evarts is situated along Kentucky Route 38, which connects to larger state highways and eventually to major interstates further afield. While traveling through the Appalachian region involves navigating winding mountain roads, the primary routes to Evarts are typically well-maintained, accommodating RVs and trailers. A significant advantage of this location is its immediate proximity to the Evarts Trailhead of the Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area. This means that guests can often unload their ATVs, UTVs, or other off-road vehicles and ride directly onto the extensive trail system from the park or very nearby. This "trail accessible" feature is a major draw, eliminating the need for daily trailering and maximizing riding time. Furthermore, being within the city limits of Evarts provides convenient access to local amenities. Within walking distance or a short drive, visitors can find gas stations, grocery stores, convenience stores, and local restaurants. The presence of the Evarts Police and Fire Departments nearby also adds a sense of security. Campground was ok, all gravel...sites are close to each other. No full hookups, need longer cords to hookup electric, and longer water hose. No place for personal group fire, but they do have a shelter place to have one.
May 14, 2025 · Brandy GuarneriWhen I first started going to the park I spent time by the river looking for arrow heads and listening to the water flow over the rocks but over time I found something MUCH MORE precious..PEACE AND HARMONY with God listening to the water and thinking about the Garden of Eden and what it possibly could have been like..ALL I could do is cry while praying...I suggest everyone find a place for the same reason.. GOD BLESS YOU ALL like He has me
