We have tried, we have TRIED. This review is for the bar and restaurant only. Crap show. Horrible service. So bad. Horrendous. I'm sure their campground s great. But as a local...avoid the bar and restaurant. We've tried. Two years we've tried and it's the same horrible service. Paying attention, we now notice a common theme of workers, that's all I'm going to say about that. It's apparent the owner knows what I mean by saying it. Hiring brains and motivation might be a good start. Such a disappointment. We've loved this place for two decades. Last few years....not at all. Service is so bad.

May 16, 2025 · Richard MeyerCharming. Good service. Tasty food. Love the atmosphere. The views are spectacular. Will definitely return when we visit our Minnesota family.
May 07, 2025 · Char terBeest KudlaThis place epitomizes what is wrong with our watershed as they’ve built a golf course abutting the river with zero buffer zone. The family rooms at the barn have no noise insulation between you and your neighbors, and the smell of weed permeates the space from the adjacent hostile.
Apr 26, 2025 · Brian JacobsWe had a great time at the Old Barn. Sites were a nice size. We enjoyed drinks at The Patio. The pool is inside but also kinda outside. Perfect if the weather is bad or if you have had enough sun. The showers take quarters.Tubing was so much fun! Definitely recommend the fried pickles and cheese curds!
