We stayed here on the way to Mt. Rushmore and then again on the way home! The price was only $35/night, and the location is perfect! Just off I-90 and next to a lake! Very peaceful, quiet campground. RV spaces are wide and easy to get into. The fire pits are great, too. Staff was friendly.

Nice area, clean bathroom with hot showers too. Lovely lady checked us in and gave us some advice on the local area. We did the walk around the lake, about 8km all flat plants of shade, we would definitely recommend doing this walk. I would also recommend upgrading to a lake veiw, we stayed in a normal tent spot which was beautiful in the daytime however at night there was a lot of noise from the road and as a light sleeper this kept me up (my partner slept well all night) This is the only reason for giving it four stars and not five stars.

Beautiful little city campground. Right on the lake and had lots of shade with mature trees. The sites are pretty level and plentiful. We were able to find a spot on a Friday evening in the summer with no reservation. All of the sites are 50 amp and there are water spigots for filling and a dump station. There is a playground and a bath house and a pavilion available. The woman working the check in is very friendly.

Stayed here in mid-July. City campground tucked into one of the nine public parks around Olson Lake. Shaded by mature trees with a breeze off the water. Level site, super clean bathouse with free showers. Loved the paved 5+ mile bike/walk trail around the lake. Play parks for kids. Dog friendly. Worthington is a very tidy town. Manicured lawns, pretty gardens. Shopping nearby. Would definitely stay again.
