Customer Reviews
Stayed here in April and it was fantastic!! Rented the small cabin which was perfect for us! Great views and a wonderful area for fishing and kayaking (minus the rain we had while there.) The owners are FANTASTIC and so welcoming!! Would definitely stay there again and recommend to everyone!
Third year renting the kayaks here. Owner is great, personable, checks in with us once every visit. Nice accomodations for the cost. Access to the river. Local kayak rental will pick up from here for a reasonable fee.
Went a second time and all still stands. They even let us be down by the river all by ourself.yeah a few people come by but it was so peaceful no other campers the river flowing it was so nice. Didn't want to leave. Highly recommend this place. What a great place! We have been all over and done many types of camping. We have been seasonal other places we have tented and camper camped we have done county parks and resorts. We tent camped here this past weekend and had a wonderful time. The owners were very nice. Showers were nice and no timer to fight. Fun crowd to be around. Access to the river for kayaking if needed but bring your own. We will be back many times to this one.
Great owners! Seasonal campers are very welcoming. Playgrounds for the little ones and great beach area. Love the occasional weekend potlucks and community/family feeling you get. Have only stayed a couple weekends but plan to be a seasonal camper next year!
Booked in months advance for a secluded campsite because we didn't want to disturb anyone, they confirmed this would be ok, moved us day-of directly next to a family with small children, while there were several plots available even in that area further away from others. Tried to tell us that we would "understand when we were older" and said we could leave if we didn't like the spot. Much more to add but moral of the story, go elsewhere.
