We lived here for the last 18 months while my husband was in flight school and it was the best decision we've ever made. This is a great place to stay for short or long term! The location was awesome, easy to get to base without being in the busier areas but Ozark still had plenty to do around the area! Tony, the guy who runs the campgrounds gets 10/10. He is the absolute best and we will miss him greatly!
Jun 04, 2025 · Molly LeechOver night stop 5 times last few years . Always clean and peaceful. Desk friendly and helpful. Last night was a late arrival. Desk person called to confirm we knew where reservations pack would be. Flat pull in sites. Highly recommend
Jun 10, 2025 · Sandra Boyles-GillenI found this KOA very nice considering it seems a older. The restroom/shower was very clean and the building had and older smell to it which was not a bad thing. the host was wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. I had site 1 which actually had nicely cut grass and the pond sitting area was a great spot to chill. I would definitely come back here.
Mar 30, 2025 · Bill BajorekWe stayed here for 18th months while I was in flight school at Fort Novosel. By far the nicest campgrounds around. Extremely accommodating to military families, and very close to the Ozark gate which never has traffic!
Jun 04, 2025 · Dylan LeechWe booked this as an overnight as we were traveling and just wanted the comfort of a KOA with full hookups and a pull through to make things easy, in case we didn't want to unhitch. We arrived on a Sunday at 12:30 to find we couldn't check in until 1pm even though the email we received the day before from them said checkin started at 12pm so that wasn't great. I called the manager and he checked us into our pull through site over the phone and was apologetic and nice and said they knew the time was wrong and didn't know why it hadn't been changed. When we pulled into our site however it was disappointing as the site wasn't long enough and we did have to unhitch. (See picture) When you get a pull through the expectation is that you won't have to unhitch if you don't want to. The employee who did show up just after 1pm did offer for us to park in the site right next to ours and apologized for not being there sooner. When we hooked up our water the pressure was really high so be aware. When I went to get our park map that we didn't get when we checked in, the employee warned us about the high water pressure which was a little too late, luckily we have a pressure regulator. To their credit, even though it's clearly an older KOA, it is very pretty and looks well maintained and our dog loved the dog park, bring your own water for Fido. Just don't checkin on a Sunday and your experience would probably be ok.
