Panacea RV Park About

For Florida residents seeking a tranquil and conveniently located RV getaway on the scenic Forgotten Coast, Panacea RV Park offers a compelling option. Nestled just off Coastal Highway in the charming fishing village of Panacea, this park provides a quiet retreat with easy access to the area's natural wonders. If your ideal camping experience includes full hookups, a refreshing pool, and friendly service, all while being a stone's throw from the Gulf of Mexico, Panacea RV Park is worth considering for your next adventure.

Panacea RV Park aims to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for its guests. It’s designed for those who appreciate a more laid-back atmosphere compared to larger, more bustling resorts. As one guest shared, "After seeing some of the reviews I was a bit skeptical... But we had no problems there. Site was big enough... there was acceptable room Between sites. We asked for a picnic had it in 5 minutes. Staff was very friendly.. bathrooms clean, pool clean, nice sitting area. And near plenty of parks and water to enjoy." This positive experience highlights the park's commitment to providing essential comforts and attentive service.

While some older reviews might express concerns, recent feedback indicates improvements and a dedication to guest satisfaction. The park positions itself as a "quiet park" nestled between the Apalachicola National Forest and Dickerson Bay, making it an ideal base for "young retirees, 55 and over" and anyone looking to unwind. Whether you're an avid angler, a nature lover, or simply want to relax by the pool, Panacea RV Park provides a functional and friendly environment to enjoy the unique charm of this corner of Florida.

Location and Accessibility

Panacea RV Park is ideally situated at 1089 Coastal Hwy, Panacea, FL 32346, USA. This address places it directly on US Highway 98, which is a major, easily navigable route running along Florida's scenic Forgotten Coast. This excellent accessibility makes it simple for RVers of all sizes to reach the park without navigating complex backroads. For Floridians traveling from various parts of the state, US 98 provides a straightforward and often picturesque drive.

Panacea is known as a relaxed fishing village, distinct from the high-rise developments found in other parts of Florida. The park's location embraces this "Old Florida lifestyle," offering a quiet ambiance. Despite being on the main highway, the park is described as a "quiet park," benefiting from its setting.

A significant highlight of the park's location is its close proximity to the water. Place is a ripoff. Stayed here a while back. Pricy, laundry machines aren't worth a flip, nasty bathrooms, and the owner is mean as a snake. Do not reccomend. Worst RV Park I've ever been to.

This place was amazing! The only downfall was how hard it was getting in and out of the spots with such little space. Roadway needs to be a bit wider for larger campers/fifth wheels. Other than that it was beautiful.

The person who checked us in was curt. Our spot given us was not the one my husband requested. She became agitated when he said we had to have a different one. She raised her voice at me when I told her this was not what we needed. When he called to make the reservation, my husband explained that we had been there before and that he was blind in one eye, so he requested a site that was easier for him and since we were doing an overnightstay, one that was long enough so we didn't have to unhook. The lady said...no problem. But the site given us was a problem. The sewage line was in the middle, ours is at the end...we were only staying overnight (last year we stayed a week)...we would have had to unhook to stay in that sight, and we were not going to do that. We were given a more suitable site...under duress. NOTE: We have been camping 20+ years and have never had to change a reserved site...unless we requested it and as long as it didn't cause additional problems. The reservation was made by Kenneth McIntyre.

This is an excellent location choice for us. The park is clean, and quiet. Everything we need is within a short drive at most. ALL employees are very helpful and cordial. This has exceeded our expectations. We came in for a trial basis and have just fallen love with this park and wouldn't dream of relocating. My husband is in a wheelchair....the handicapped accommodations are perfect for us. With both of us retired we have a lot of time in our hands, this area has quite a biy available. If your looking for a short or long stay don't pass this by!!!!
